CPU GPU Combo advice

I need some advice on what CPU and GPU combo I should go with.
Right now I’m running a Ryzen 5 8600G on an ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming WiFi in an NZXT H9 Flow case.
I’ve seen a lot of different opinions, but these two options stand out to me.
For context, I’m using two monitors: a 27” 1440p 240hz and a 32” 1440p 240hz . I mainly play competitive games and want to hit around 270 FPS. It doesn’t really matter which monitor I use or if I drop to 1080p, as long as I can get high FPS with high settings.
I also play more relaxed games like ETS2, Minecraft, and similar stuff. For those, I’d like to run 1440p on high settings with at least 120 FPS.
The two options I’m considering are:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an ASUS 9070 XT (TUF OC or Prime OC)
Ryzen 7 9850X3D with an ASUS 9060 XT Prime OC
My budget is around 1200Eur, but I’d prefer to stay much lower if possible.
Any advice on which combo makes more sense for my use case?

Ok, the 9800X3D is roughly 15-20% faster than the 7800X3D. Unless the price difference is only 15-20%, I would go with the 7800X3D and the 9070XT. That will be better at higher resolutions than the 9850X3D and 9060TX combo.
Also, keep in mind that scaling from 1080 to 1440 in your monitor is not square, so that might look bad, even for the performance gain. The 9070XT will again be the better choice there.

Would you say 9070xt prime or tuf? Since there is a price difference of over 100 bucks.

I would take the lower cost one. I know the Prime is usually more money, but I don't think it's worth the difference.

prime is the lowest end asus model. TUF is their mid tier.

Is going for the over 100eur more model worth it tho?
changen@reddit
almost never for just performance.
If you want a slightly quieter or better looking cooler, then maybe.
They all pretty much perform the same and overclock the same. There is no more binning even with high tier models.

In this case the prime one cost less. The Asus Radeon rx 9070 xt tuf gaming oc (black), is priced at 778eur while the Asus Radeon rx 9070 xt prime oc (white), is priced at 643eur.

Thank you so much!

7800x3d build is better.

7800x3d and 9070 XT will be much better in games.

Probably the 9070xt and 7800x3d.
9800x3d and that same GPU would be better but that want one of the options 😂
