Need help picking a pc case for my Dell Xps 8920

I want to recase the insides to another pc case. I know these are known for overheating due to lack of airflow. so I need help picking a case to help it breathe under $50. it'll also give me a chance to deeply dust and clean as I take everything out and also upgrading to a 1tb SSD. It naturally has a GTX 1080 GPU, would a 6600 xt be good with 500w pcu. Is there also anything I should be cautious about when recasing the motherboard and such?
thank you!

Dang...i saw a youtuber just using the same thing i have and doing it in a nicer case. Thought it was possible

Motherboard is proprietary and will unlikely work with a new case and the compact psu is proprietary to the motherboard and is not compatible with matx cases or itx cases. Also 6600xt isn't a large performance increase over a 1080, only around 20%. It's a solid 1080p card to a slightly better 1080p card

6600xt isn't worth it...got it...

I'm not sure you can. Don't they use proprietary motherboards?

A dell case is only compatible with the motherboard it shipped with. They are form fitted to prevent you from upgrading.
Case won't fit normal motherboards. Normal motherboards need a 24pin atx power connector which the dell psu's don't use. So you'll need janky adapters, or a new psu. New psu won't fit into the dell case, so to replace the case you're looking at case/psu/motherboard
