Just a quick question. Are pilots of any stage able to use PEDs. Of course it’s not allowed but what are the odds of getting caught. Since Sarms have a shorter half life would those be better. Do certain medical find them and others don’t?

You can tell several pilot influencers that are OBVIOUSLY on roids or sarms at the very least. Will they get caught? Seems like they won't.

Nobody is testing you for gear usage.
The reality is their usage hasn't caught up to them yet, a major medical event eventually will and that will end their life/career.

What is the point in using PEDs unless you are competitive BB/athlete?

In reasonable dosages and proper usages they can improve quality of life. Things like TRT and weaker SARMS can provide minimal side effects.

TRT dosage wise isn't in the same realm as what you'd need to take to compete, not even by a mile.
Unless you're one of those guys blasting test saying you're on "TRT".

Many SARMs do not aromatize so the risk of gyno is from on cycle therapy which can almost be completely midi-gated by an aromatase inhibitor, Nolvadex, or if your using Enclomiphene just over the counter dim will work as well.

My AME will and does prescribe TRT to pilots. There are avenues that make it possible but you would want to really think hard about that lifetime commitment. Also. (Not to anyone specific) Don't DM asking for the AME. I don't use those services from him.

Interesting, does TRT reliance put your medical at risk? I’d imagine not if your AME is willing to prescribe it.

The FAA has a path to allow you to use TRT. There are conditions that must be met just like when using other prescriptions.

You cam blast gear all you want and lie to the AME. When your blood pressure is so fucked uo you can no longer hold a medical at least you'll be in great shape to attract some attention from other gym dudes. Theres really no world in which you want to risk your medical and run PEDs. What trophy are you trying to win?

No I completely understand what your saying. More of a curiosity thing. Maybe in the future but probably not, don’t wanna risk medical.

I use my personal electronic devices every once in a while.
But for medical stuff, it's usually caught during the autopsy.

I understand, I’d much rather be a pilot than take gear. Just also curious how certain influencers get away with it. Also was a question for many years down the line.

Are you either a career pilot or aspiring career pilot? This industry is usually pretty harsh on people that knowingly break rules.
Second question, for what purpose do you want to take PEDs? If you want a long career in aviation then maintaining decent health is very important. I’m not sure at what you are trying to achieve but ask yourself if it’s worth losing your medical

Just aspiring, trying to get more knowledge in the space. It was more of a curiosity question because you see pilot influences obviously on copious of gear and wonder how that happened.

Do people use them. Yes. Can you get caught? Also yes. I’m assuming they get “caught”because of the inevitable rise in blood pressure.
