I have the exact same one. You can grab the centre bit and pull up; it will come free. There's then a big drain underneath with a side exit for the water and a kind of cup in it (presumably to catch solids in case you drop anything; mostly it just gets gummed up with hair). You can lift the cup out.
Alternatively, buy a bathroom drain unblocker, pour it in, and leave it overnight.
Do not try and unscrew anything as I ended up having to make a custom tool to get enough torque to screw it back up tight again. Bits that are meant to come out for cleaning will do so without needing to be screwed in/out.

It will absolutely unscrew.

Yeah, pull it up, underneath there will be a cup that can removed, then it's the drain.
I often have to remove the cup and clean it, as we live in a hard water area, and my wife has the longest most falling out hair in the universe.

Bleach, leave it for an hour, boiling water straight down from a few feet up.
Works every time for me removing any gunk

I read that as "Biitch, leave it for an hour..." Lol

Mr Muscle drain unblocker is fantastic as a woman with long hair too squeamish to pull it all out.

There is very few household task more gag inducing than cleaning clumps of long hair out of a drain. I would also throughly endorse Mr Muscle drain unblocker too

I (F60) live alone, and even with my post-menopausal, shoulder-length hair I remove what looks like a medium-sized rat from the drain each month. Seriously, get the drain unblocker that dissolves hair and grease so you don't have to.

That thing should just come out. No twisting or screwing. Just pull.
Huge-Brick-3495@reddit
You don't need drain unblocker or Mr muscle. Just use a dishtab and boiling water. If you can unscrew then pour a boiled kettle, then throw in a dishtab to dissolve and leave for a few hours. If you can't unscrew it, dissolve the dishtab first in boiling water and pour that down. It will mostly stay I'm the trap until you flush it through.

Just pull it up by the middle bit and it should pop right out. I have one like this in my shower and frequently remove it due to my long hair.

Thank you! I didn't realise it just pulled straight towards, I've been trying to twist and unscrew it.

I've got long hair that sheds easily and I've never unscrewed a shower drain in my life - all I do is call my old friend Mr Muscle. He can be your friend, too!
ManageThoseFootballs@reddit
Have you tried unscrewing it? Fingers in the holes and twist left (carefully)?
It might be that you're looking at the cover there and the trap is below and able to be cleaned when removed. It looks to me like that would need to be removable because the holes are small and it could get clogged regularly otherwise.
Jabberminor@reddit
Is that not one that can be unscrewed?
lunarblossoms@reddit
Mines a little smaller than that, but it just pulls out with a little cup beneath to clean out.
herwiththepurplehair@reddit
You should be able to get unblocker in a hardware store, you just pour it down and wait for it to dissolve all the gloop that’s down there.
