I am planning to import a vending machine from Mexico. Can you help?

What would be the step by step process If I am an individual, not a business (yet) and also the machine is worth around 7000 gbp not including delivery. They manufacture it there and then someone has to go and collect it and send it here.
Have someone done this before? Can someone explain me?

This is exactly what AI is for.

Ai is so shit for providing actual factual information. Gov website would be best for import information and then would need to seek out a specialist company that deals with mexico exports, likely by sea crate and then this guy would need to pay someone to deal with all the import side of things and courier to where he lives.

Absolute bullshit. It's exactly for AI. Try using it.

Many of us have realised that AI is a master of baseless bluster. Reminds me somewhat of your comments.

It's painful dealing with luddites.

I am far from being a Luddite, I use AI regularly. I spent a day trying to solve a problem with one last week. It was confidently wrong so many times frequently misquoting or misinterpreting sources, it ended up making a bad situation worse.
It’s a useful tool, but it can be unreliable, untrustworthy and confidently wrong. It may point you in the right direction, but relying on it when making critical decisions is unwise.

Fortunately I still have the intelligence to research things on my own efficiently. Ai is dogshit and gotta be a complete gullible retard to trust it with genuine research

God help you buddy.

I can't comment on your question but you have my curiosity.
Why specifically a Mexican vending machine?

Probably trying to move something in the vending machine. Cheaper to buy them here with free shipping and may even be able to negotiate it comes stocked. Unless they make special sizes for specific central american products then no need to import like this.
Bobboloski@reddit
Are you the guy who was importing bees to southern America from Africa and then talking about selling pumpkins as instruments??
BladesMan235@reddit
If you have to ask this to random people on reddit you are better off not bothering

If you don't want to organise everything yourself, it may be better to deal with a logistics business which is used to the import/export paperwork &c?
I did this when importing some special wine for a wedding (all the wine merchants in the country told me to go away, apart from one who said "here's the shipping company we use, maybe they could help you"). I could probably have DIY'd more of the process but I was already planning a wedding so it was easier to have a "single throat to choke", so to speak, one business which would collect from the vendor, and do the truck and ship thing, and the import and tax paperwork, and deliver everything to my chosen address.
Good luck with your vending machine!

This is a good answer, thanks for putting the effort in.
I really really want to know what the vending machine is, I bet it is freaking awesome
oscarx-ray@reddit
With the massive costs involved in its manufacture, shipping, and whatever taxes and tariffs you'll likely have to pay for a "Mexican vending machine" - never mind the logistical difficulties of arranging safe transport from 5000 miles away (in a second language?) - would it not be easier and probably cheaper to have a facsimile fabricated closer to home, particularly by someone who will abide by UK quality control standards, and with whom you will be able to seek recompense if the item is lost in transit, damaged, faulty, or never materialises?
connolan1@reddit
Be cheaper to buy one from the UK so what's so special about this one? Cheapest would be sea crate most likely and would take several months but still likely in the hundreds if not thousands for shipping.
LegitimatePieMonster@reddit
First up I'd check that the electrics are compatible with the UK supply.
Ok_Adhesiveness_8637@reddit
Better off asking in a Mexican sub, they are known to be great exporters of expensive items...
