Rtx 5060 ti 8gb in 16x Motherboard

I asked gemini and chat got and both are saying that the rtx 5060 ti in the short version with 8 lanes can be used on a A320m-a pro max with 16 lanes. Is this true because the lever doesn't work.

While it is true that it will work, you should be advised that because of the 8GB VRAM buffer paired with a fairly powerful GPU, the fact that the A320 chipset only supports PCIe3, depending on the game and settings you use you're looking at a MASSIVE loss in max performance. Source
If you can somehow find the extra money to get into the 16GB version, I would strongly recommend doing so.

Yeah, you can use any PCI-E card in a 16x slot. The latch won't grab onto anything if the card has a short connector, but it's not needed.
