Oil level

Ok, stupid question guys (“haha”), but is this a good oil level? You can somewhat see it but there is a little raised arrow pointing down near the top of the stick. My oil has always been slightly above that arrow. My truck gets serviced very regularly but it seems slightly lower to me today and I check it every day. Freightliner cascadia 2025

If I'm reading right, I think this is the read.

Gotcha. Thanks!

Its a touch over filled but it's not going to hurt anything. Most engines will self regulate the amount of oil they consider "full".
I've told many a tech that full on my dipstick is 3/8" from the maximum mark. Then they don't listen and fill it right to the max. Within a week it's back down to 3/8" below max and will happily sit there until I have it changed in another 35k miles.

Your dipstick should have two marks.
Minimum and maximum oil level. As long as you maintain oil between the dipsticks, you are good.

What if like 3/4ths of your dipstick is caked in oil. Asking for a friend of course

It rubbed the inside of the dipstick and got oil all over. Wipe with rag and rotate some and insert, check again.
