I've been through a handful of different pillows from high street shops / supermarkets recently and haven't found any comfortable enough. id love to wake up one day and not have to click my neck

adjustable one like cloud͏align, it lets you get the right height. I kinda like it

I use dreams side sleeper pillow, it shapes really well for your shoulder to go in the middle and your head on either side

I'm a side and stomach sleeper and had a bad neck and shoulders for years. I eventually spent a lot of money (£149) on a Tempur Ombracio pillow. It took a bit of getting used to but they offer a months trial, if you don't like it you get a full refund. I haven't had any more issues since I started using it.

I have a good quality, ethically sourced feather pillow. I can adjust the plumpness in seconds according to how I'm lying in bed reading or on my phone and just before I go to sleep. It also keeps me warm in winter and stays cold in summer. I switched for a while to a specialist side sleeper pillow and ended up with neck ache so ditched that proto and haven't had a problem since going back to feathers. I've also gone back to feather duvets now I'm perimenopausal and they're much better at night.

Fellow side sleeper here. The biggest thing that helped my neck was switching to a higher loft pillow so my head isn’t dropping toward the mattress. When the pillow’s too flat it bends your neck sideways all night and you wake up stiff.
I’ve actually had really good luck with the Xtreme Comforts Shredded Memory Foam Pillow. It’s adjustable so you can dial in the height until your neck stays neutral.
Ended up going down this rabbit hole a couple months ago when my wife was struggling to find a new pillow and created a free app called PillowFinder, which helps you find your perfect pillow based on your sleep preferences, pain points, mattress firmness, and body measurements. Check it out and let me know if it helps!

Otty pillow I got with my mattress. Amazing.

My neck and shoulder pain has reduced massively since using The Original Groove pillow.

I second using the Groove pillow!

Pillows have to be firm, but also they need to be the right thickness for a side sleeper. So what's best will depend on how wide your shoulders are.

Tempur Pillow
This is my current pillow and it's amazing!

These are excellent, they maintain their loft so that your head is held straight.

This is the one.

I got 2 of these free withmy mattress and I love it. I don't wake up constantly changing positions anymore

Honestly, if your neck is clicking like a Geigerr counter, it might be time to stop buying pillows from the middle aisle of Lidl. I switched to a firm memory foam one that looks like a brick but actually supports a side-sleeper's sanity.

I bought the ones from Premier Inn (yep they sell them!) and the duvet and so far so good.
We had the Simba ones as we also have a Simba mattress but I found the pillows a bit on the firm side whereas I prefer something a bit more cloud like. My husband likes the Simba ones though

Got one of these last year - really good, really comfortable - didn't cost £159 - currently £21.24 on amazon.

i use a pregnancy pillow! one of the ones that don’t gave a gap for the bump, they’re just straight. comfiest i’ve ever slept but they take up a decent bit of space

I just got this one a couple months ago and it's the first one I've found in years that properly works for me:

Otty deluxe pure, honestly I wouldn't use any other pillow ever again worth every penny.

I just got the Hydomi memory foam neck support pillow from Amazon. Love it. Time will tell in the summer but it feels nice and cool.

I use these, I personally think they are really good - the company is good also if they offer free stuffing for the pillow if it doesn’t feel quite right

I just have this one and seems to do the trick. I used to struggle so bad with my neck.

I love the Simba cooling one.
My wife is also a side sleeper and in the 20 years we've been together hasn't found a pillow that works for her.
phulbs@reddit
I have a Simba pillow and am very happy with it. Expensive, but always on sale.
