ULPT Request: I need a document with my name and address on it asap.

I have a job tomorrow that requires me to be a resident of a certain state that I’m only visiting family in. I’ve been out of work for so long and it pays well so I really need this. I don’t have an id for this state obviously but the recruiter said a bill would work fine.
I don’t want to generate a fake bill or modify an existing one cause that’s fraud. I’d happily create services or something for me but I need to find somewhere that will give me an instant statement. Any ideas? I can’t get a utility or water bill without some type of verification.

Have your relative write up a lease for one bedroom.

Change the service address on your cell phone to your family’s house, then go online and download your account statement. Poof. Utility bill.

The pdf statements themselves wouldn’t be issued until the next billing cycle, but maybe they could print a screenshot of the account and new address somehow.

What job requires you to be a resident in a certain state? Is it a State government job?
jrgray68@reddit
If you got the job by saying you are a resident and now you have to prove it, it sounds like you already committed fraud.

Job interview ? A lease approval from an apartment ?

Yeah, this won't work.
Even if you produce something that has your address in the state, what is going to happen when you have to fill out your I9? They will require more than a simple bill with address.
Add in when you log in and it shows you are from somewhere else. Oh and shipping equipment to you. Etc.
Mix in tax fraud when it comes down to filing taxes.

OP, there's no plan here. You won't get around tax filing documents, even if you produce a bill or something.
Either move to the state you want to work in, find an employer that doesn't care, or cash-under-table jobs.

That's not how it works. You need fraud.

OP looking to commit fraud: "I don't want to commit fraud"

State and federal
I wonder what OP’s plans are for taxes or the actual onboarding documents for I-9 employment verification.

Why not move to the state then

Car Insurance can give you instant bill.
