I loved my PS4 to be honest. It covered my gaming and streaming needs for 8 years until I upgraded and passed it along to my father in law. Now I love my PS5. It has a ton of games that it runs well for someone who has a very outdated PC. I like that it just works without having to deal without all the random issues I remember having with steam or constantly dealing with settings to make a specific game work. It might not have exclusives, but it's a pretty dope console.

I read it has to do with Microsoft's new system being a Windows based device and able to run storefronts such as Steam.

So essentially it would allow Playstation exclusives on Xbox's new console which would hurt Sony's console sales.

I bought my ps5 for Rift Apart. Sure I could've waited a few years and got it on steam (i did anyway) but even then the port runs worse on greater hardware than it does on the console. I don't get it.

Also if you wanna play 360 games you can get an RGH'd console for like nothing and then download as many games as you want.
