Yes…. Two guys on YT will point you in the right direction. Thomas DeLauer and Dr Eric Berg. Fasting and Keto are a great way to lose weight and optimize your health but to be honest I also LOVE carbs as well. I pretty much yo-yo back and forth. I honestly wish I could afford the carnivore diet but it’s damn expensive these days.
So, unmixed tuna salad? Brother hard boil some eggs, one can of tuna, a few dollops of mayo, some relish, put it in a bowl and you've got something 100x more delicious than it looks.
Mayo, mustard, relish, pepper, and Sriracha if you like some heat. If you don't go for Sriracha I like a little bit of garlic powder instead. Its sooooo good
This isn't shitty at all, tuna with mayo slaps. I've been eating a lot of tuna with cream cheese and chives on bread as a snack lately. It's just the presentation that looks awful lol
This sub reminds me of the time I read an entire blog of someone reviewing different brands of canned sardines. I don't know why but it was so interesting I couldn't stop.
mykl7s@reddit
Just microwave a jacket potato.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
What's a jacket potato
Xarius86@reddit
Taking it out of the can and putting in a bowl makes you go from single male, broke, college kid to soccer mom.
oasinocean@reddit
Add a splash of hot sauce and a bit of relish and now we’re talking
Justin_milo@reddit
This type of recipe is one of the only reasons I buy celery. I like that crunch in there
LiquidSnape@reddit
replace the relish with some kimchi 😋
oasinocean@reddit
I’ve never had kimchi, I understand it is some kind of fermented cabbage?
LiquidSnape@reddit
yeah with a bunch of other vegetables too, it adds a bit of crunchiness’s to a tuna salad
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Awesome skill
tapeforpacking@reddit
You left the tuna water in there too?
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Absolutely not, I drained it
Rhodin265@reddit

LostRonin@reddit
Ground peppercorn + boiled eggs would make it elite but its a solid choice as is for a filling snack. Im not hating.
My grandfather used to do that for me all the time as a kid and he'd crush some crackers on top.
Simple food isnt stupid!
Iron_Bones_1088@reddit
When I was on Keto I did this every day.

Yes…. Two guys on YT will point you in the right direction. Thomas DeLauer and Dr Eric Berg. just drop half a can of peas and corn and you're gold.
some jalapeno slices would help. but, in general, a pretty decent dish.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Thanks and I like the idea of peas and corn. Also jalapeno
karoshikun@reddit
right? and you can eat it in a sandwich or with crackers or tortilla chips.

The perfect 1 to 1 ratio, of Tuna to Mayo.

Sweet-Palpitation473@reddit
Bananas peppers are my goat for tuna

Oh that sounds good. I never thought of that
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I do enjoy pickles with tuna I would imagine relish is probably pretty good
Forman420@reddit
Mayo, mustard, relish, pepper, and Sriracha if you like some heat. If you don't go for Sriracha I like a little bit of garlic powder instead. Its sooooo good
the_rare_bear@reddit
Add some egg and you have hard boiled eggs.
Forman420@reddit
Yeah, I admittedly do the same thing for egg salad sandwiches lol
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I do love garlic powder
Jolly-Bluejay8213@reddit
And a little dijon if you like to walk on the wild side
Intelligent-Excuse80@reddit
So close. Just use a bread

Better than depressing spoon food.

Yes but then it would contain bread

Lol thanks
Canelosaurio@reddit
This is the same recipe as Subway's Tuna Sandwich.
ReelestPrincess12@reddit
Yuck. I hated making tuna subs when I worked there.
Rickety_Cricket_23@reddit
Subway staff hate making subs, it's a fact. I asked for extra meat on a blt and the chick asked me if I wanted to put a whole pig on my sub.
No, just do your job and make what im paying for without the snatched attitude, thanks.
ReelestPrincess12@reddit
She was trash for that
LilyLaKoi@reddit
I think they use yellowfin tuna instead of albacore. I'm not really too sure but I think that's why it's unusually mushy.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
This is probably true
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Funny
helfire_@reddit

yes, and that's half of the point of this sub.
It's shitty food-porn

Throw some onions and a little salt and you're good to go
Graucsh@reddit
I have no problem with this. Just leave room for pickle relish
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Thanks

That’s friggin’ albacore tuna too. Come back when it’s the really dreadful store brand minced kind.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Haha that stuff is rough
vvillhalla@reddit
Is……is this not normal? I do this….
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Thanks🙂
Separate-Succotash11@reddit
Sriracha is the answer. And some saltines.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I do enjoy Sriracha...except when I have to try and pronounce it
Separate-Succotash11@reddit
I think it’s “see-rah-chah”, but then again I’m just a dumb ‘ole Korean so what do I know.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Thanks🙂
LeChampeon@reddit
SmugCichlid@reddit
Throw a mustard or a pickle please for god
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Mustard with tuna? Are you sure about this?
SmugCichlid@reddit
Some citrus to cut the mayo and tuna
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
Like a lime? I really enjoy lime
SmugCichlid@reddit
Interesting
LarenCoe@reddit
If you then, put that between two pieces of bread, it would almost be acceptable.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I really do try to minimize my bread consumption
LarenCoe@reddit
Bread is delicous.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I do this by not eating bread
elkcox13@reddit
Wife does this. Drives me mad. Gotta add AT LEAST dill, salt, garlic powder. Better with fine chopped pickles and some celery seed.
AverageInfamous7050@reddit
Nice. Done this one for sure. Used that thousand island type sandwich spread too. It works. Crackers or bread helps.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
This is dukes mayonnaise
AverageInfamous7050@reddit
Naw. Fuck Duke. Go Heels.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)

That, is most certainly, does
Clt_princee@reddit
At least stir it up, my God
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I didn't want to break apart the nice pieces of tuna meat. The firm, whole pieces of tuna are what I like best about the cans of solid white albacore
LiterColaFarva@reddit
Super common and hardly shitty. Aggressive fork tho.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)

sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
That actually sounds really good
camoure@reddit
Pretty much what I do too, but I put it on crackers
flockinatrenchcoat@reddit
Little salt and pepper, onion powder if you're feeling fancy. A scoop of pickle relish. That's a reasonable tuna salad.
sometimes_other697@reddit (OP)
I can definitely get on board with pickle relish
