Candy from a coin operated vending machine.
TheNexxuvas@reddit
Quite a few things, most are single vegetables like an onion, garlic, head of lettuce sometimes hits .79 and .99 cents.
Individual screws at the hardware store. Love that this is still a thing at Ace Hardware. No buying an overpriced pack of 5 or 10 from Lowes, HD, or even Amazon.
I needed 4 screws for a door that leads from garage to mudroom, .15 a pop at Ace.
Now that's fixing a problem in your house for less than a $1 when most anything else getting broke or worn down in your house is gonna wipe out 2 months worth of paychecks. Lol
Enough-Fondant-4232@reddit
Nope, I just paid $1.25 for a penny.

I believe a Big Gulp is 79 cents, with the catch that you need to have the 7 Eleven app and/or register a phone number. With that caveat, the price has been pretty stable for about 30 years.
You can also get a big soda at Costco or Sam's Club for under $1 with a membership.
While it's not a single item, I can get a box of 12 perfectly edible ice cream sandwiches at my local Kroger variant for about $2.49, which comes out to about 21 cents per ice cream sandwich.

Baking Soda, Toothpicks, Wrigleys 5 pack, surely there are more.
aseedandco@reddit
Where are you shopping? It’s $5 for a Wrigley’s 4 pack and $3 for a 200 pack of toothpicks at Kmart here. The cheapest baking soda near me is $2.95.
kat_storm13@reddit
I think they mean one pack of 5 pieces of gum.
How big is the baking soda? One pound boxes here run between about 80 cents and $1.50 depending on brand. Walmart has a 4 pound box of it for $3.24
aseedandco@reddit
500g, so about 1 pound.
