Not a bad drop for anyone looking for a level action today. 8% drop from previous price and the 2nd price drop in 2 weeks!

Its so weird watching random deals get downvoted to oblivion while every HK "deal" gets glazed to hell and back lmao
Fearless-Jeweler-318@reddit
hk is reddit: the gun company, people soyface over every 4000 dollar AR and 2000 dollar 30 year old polymer pistol and will downvote anyone who critiques their shitty business practices and overpriced mid tier firearms
TreeTopologyTroubado@reddit
I think this is 100% true and I have two 416 clones with all HK parts because I’m an idiot.
Exciting_Bat_2086@reddit
Because I’m an idiot ❌ Because you’re a baller ✅
TreeTopologyTroubado@reddit

YourTokenGinger@reddit
Depends if you paid interest on the purchase.
TreeTopologyTroubado@reddit
I don’t believe in paying interest.
YourTokenGinger@reddit
Then ball out, homie! 😎
EntrepreneurOld7858@reddit
b-b-but, Muh sOcOM.
For real though I really like HK stuff, but the HK Tax is so not worth it anymore.
spider_enema@reddit
The brand I understand people's praise for, but will never buy
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
Such is life. I only post deals that I have some history for, even from PSA. It’s still a deal though…just not what the people want I guess
EntrepreneurOld7858@reddit
Gotta post more $1800 MK23's lol. Its clearly what the people want!
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
I'm clearly doing this whole thing wrong haha!
Euphoric911@reddit
Well 9/10 times a PSA deal is not a deal after shipping + tax, many of the smaller vendors will have cheaper shipping and no tax which makes up the $5-10+ difference
EntrepreneurOld7858@reddit
9/10 times an HK deal isnt a deal at all but still gets upvoted fym.
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
That’s literally why I built my website to track this, LOL!
bubbathedesigner@reddit
I thought the ranch hand was the 6 round 12" barrel pistol version of the 92
SpaceCampDropOut@reddit
Cool site buddy. This work on any firearm/accessory search?
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
THANKS! So far I’m only supporting 4 sites, but looking to expand greatly. Got any places you want me to start integrating?
Psychological-Drive4@reddit
Lanbos, but the add to cart pricing may be a challenge
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
Got that part figured out already, will add to list!
Psychological-Drive4@reddit
impressive
GrouchTheMongolian@reddit
every single one.
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
Obviously that is the goal.... It takes time to do it right now. That being said, aside from these new ones: Primary Arms, KyGunCo, Sportsman Outdoor Superstore, SilencerCo, OpticPlanet, you got any others to add?
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
Battlehawk Armory sometimes gets a bad rap here but i like to use them and their sale prices as a good idea of the floor price among all the dropshippers. They along with Dahlonega and KyGunCo usually cover the lowest pricing on a ton of guns and accessories
sLUTYStark@reddit
I’ve had good luck with single item firearm orders from Dahlonega, but I wouldn’t piss on Battlehawk if they were on fire.
Ordered a Swampfox red dot for a .22 and decided to get a few more cheaper accessories since I’m already paying for shipping, 5 items in total ordered January 2024. 1st package arrives and has 2 of the cheap items. 2nd package arrives and has the other 2 cheap items. I knew they were a drop ship company so I understood wait times and the multiple packages deal, so I patiently waited.
Late February I finally open a support ticket explaining the situation and wondering when I can expect shipment. I get the quaint response of “SHIPPED HERE” followed by the tracking number and notification that the support ticket was closed. I called a left a voicemail foolishly thinking that would get me somewhere. I then checked the online order system and see where they do believe that the optic was included in the shipped order.
Thankfully I had held on to the manifest that clearly showed only two items had been sent with that order. I open up a new support ticket, even more thoroughly explaining and including pictures of the manifest. This goes unanswered for about 2 weeks until I redo another support ticket with the same information, and I get the response “(pkg. #2) DELIVERED was 3 ITEMS (pkg. #1) DELIVERED was 2 items Everything was delivred(sp?).” and a notification again that the support ticket was closed. Also during this time I was calling them almost everyday, to no avail.
Finally in late March I get fed up and did a chargeback for the amount of the optic. I also decided that I should bite the bullet and got a Holosun from PSA. I honestly didn’t expect to hear anything back from Battlehawk, but in April on the final day of the dispute response window I get a email and call from Battlehawk. They did apologize profusely, but were not willing to compensate me a fair amount of in store credit for the hours I had to spend mending their mistakes and abysmal customer service.
Maybe you’ve gotten lucky, but I wouldn’t wish that experience on my sworn enemy.
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
Afaik they’re doing a lot better about stuff like that than a year or two ago. All of my transactions in the past year have been uneventful. That said I mostly just use their prices as a reference
TubeSockLover87@reddit
Sportsmans Warehouse, Academy Sports, Scheels.
SpaceCampDropOut@reddit
Usual suspects probably:
Primary Arms, KyGunCo, Sportsman Outdoor Superstore, SilencerCo, OpticPlanet
OneWhoDoesNotFail@reddit (OP)
Roger that. Will message you back once I’ve got it done!
HeughJanus@reddit
what is the general consensus on rossi/heritage levers? thinking about picking up their 16" 357 or saving up for a winchester 1892
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
I’ve heard Rossis aren’t as bad as folks make them out to be and that Henrys are shittier than you’d expect based on their reputation. Dunno on the Heritages and tbh dunno on lever guns in general so hopefully this comment makes someone knowledgeable speak up lol
mojobolt@reddit
mine is outstanding
SmoothSlavperator@reddit
The only reason Henry is so well regarded is because Cerberus-Marlin fucked the dig so hard and they were able to capitalize on the fact they were they only levergun you could mount optics on that wasn't complete ass.
They're not even as nice as the off-brand kmart/wards/sears OEM marlins that you can find for 1/2 to 2/3 the price of a Henry.
FadingFX@reddit
The heritage 92s are made in the USA, the rest of their lever guns are Turkish (410) or Brazilian, Taurus bought Heratige a while ago
altair1199@reddit
My Rossi had horrible iron sight would not lock down at all sent it in for warranty and I swear they didn’t do shit when they sent it back to me. Mine had rails for a red dot so didn’t care too much but was disappointed
Wunktacular@reddit
Heritage is the name that Taurus uses for their cowboy themed guns because they've done irreparable damage to the Taurus name.
Make of that what you will.
My pick would be between Winchester and the new-ish Ruger Marlins.
Recent-Honey5564@reddit
Irreparable? Taurus is doing just fine lol the Taurus Fudd is hilarious.
Wunktacular@reddit
Taurus, the choice of:
~~Professionals~~ nope
~~Competition shooters~~ nope
~~Enthusiasts~~ nope
~~Collectors~~ nope
Taurus primarily sells cheap knockoff J frames to people who still think a .38 is all a woman should be allowed to carry, and abhorrently low quality pistols to their unfortunate crowd of sunk-cost fanboys who feel a sad sense of identity with the brand due to trauma-bonding with others who have to insist that it's "just as good" because they can't handle regret.
Recent-Honey5564@reddit
God you’re sad lol
The projection is unnerving, which brands do you prefer as a consumer?
And don’t worry I’m not here to say they’re top tier quality, they aren’t but there is definitely nothing wrong with their J frames.
Imagine thinking more money automatically equates to more quality and reliability. You’re the yuppy here.
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
It’s always funny reading shit from the two extremes in every hobby. Always got the “you get what you pay for” and the unironic “jUsT aS gOoD” guys. No nuance allowed
Codytheclam@reddit
Personally I bought Rossi 92 carbine in .357 last year and I love the thing. Didn't want to shell out for a Marlin SBL1895 which is the best lever I've ever shot.
Like others say it requires a bit of breaking in to slick up, and the loading gate isn't the easiest to use (so far anyway), it's always gone bang when I pull the trigger.
Another bonus is it sends the spent casing to outer space so you don't have to clean up after yourself.
Different-Medium-204@reddit
I have shot an r92 and it operated just fine no issues but the finish was rough, action was a little clanky, feeding gate was stiff and sharp af, really what you'd expect at the price point. I have never shot the Winchester or a comparable Henry.
5kDungus@reddit
They work fine, I’d get them over a Henry.
For a lever though, since it’s not so much of a utilitarian firearm now and more of a novelty (compared to an AR) I’d save up and splurge for something nicer like a Miroku/Winchester or a Ruger/Marlin
economicconstruction@reddit
A Winchester brand 92 has a tang safety. While the Rossi has a horrendous safety on the bolt it can be removed and have a plug installed.
Dear_Significance_80@reddit
If only it had a threaded barrel.
justjaybee16@reddit
First thing I checked on. Immediately disappointed.
Galvaknight@reddit
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but man do I find big lever loops goofy looking. Cool website though!
thishereandthatthere@reddit
This title really confuses me.The Rossi/Heritage Ranch Hand is a pistol version of the 92 rifle with a 12" barrel. I have the blued version.
The stainless is in their site at https://heritagemfg.com/product/442-92-ranch-hand-45-colt-black-3/
ugh, and despite what the above link says, it will take you to the page for "92 Ranch Hand .357 Mag Stainless Steel .357 MAG, 6 Rounds, 12" Barrel, Stainless Steel"
obamasfursona@reddit
This or a saddlehorn? The latter has a threaded barrel, pic rail and 10 round tube for $100 less
Tom76254@reddit
This model just looks kinda derpy with the mag tube not going all the way to the end of the barrel
Different-Medium-204@reddit
Not sure which sku, but the r92's in 357mag were $449 for months last year
SpaceCampDropOut@reddit
Where?
armond21@reddit
Likely referring to the Saddlehorns that were on sale. Which are surprisingly nice actually.
