I've got a buddy who has offered to sell his. He's upgraded and is getting rid of this and already sold his Santa Cruz. I know it's an older model, he upgraded the front fork. I've ridden it on some pretty technical trails, through some muddy streams about 6" deep, and up some hills. It's a tank with some serious torque and fun to ride, but, I know tech has advanced quite a bit. I wouldn't expect to pay more than $2-4k for it, he hasn't given the price yet. Any thoughts on whether to go this route or look at newer models? Appreciate the input.
