What happened to Jeremy Aster?

I am doing a long overdue rewatch of TNG and I’m just finishing season three episode 5 “the Bonding” in which Worf apparently decides to become the surrogate parent of an orphaned child? Does anyone know whatever happened to this kid?

Who cares?

He was sent back to Earth to live with his aunt and uncle.

He became a criminal and drug dealer in Detroit after getting adopted by Cain.

By whom?

The same actor was Hob in Robocop 2

It's mentioned in the episode that the Enterprise will be taking him back to Earth to live with his aunt and uncle.
He pops up in the novel Diplomatic Implausibility where we learn by 2375 he's working towards a doctorate in archaeology and visits the Rozhenkos regularly.
He returns in Genesis Force to help Worf and Alexander in the aftermath of the Genesis Wave, where he is formally inducted into House Martok.

Thanks! Exactly what I needed

Don't ask Worf. He forgot he had a biological kid.

Adopted by Robocop.

I think he took over a drugs empire and possibly damaged some kind of cyborg. However my memory may be a bit hazy.

Nobody knows. He may have popped up in one of the non-canon books? It still annoys me that Worf was a better father to Jeremy (for the short time that we saw him) than he was to Alexander.

Worf abandoned him just like Alexander. Deadbeat klingon dad

I don’t see why you think he is a surrogate parent? He said “we will be brothers.”
Presumably Jeremy went to live with his living relatives on Earth, as mentioned earlier.

He's bunking with Alexander in a closet. /s
I have no idea, just trying to crack a joke

Worf getting some practice on being a terrible parent

Better treatment than Alexander.

He was never mentioned again—except maybe in fanfic.
