Best GPU for current specs?

I got a killer deal for a ryzen 5 9600x3d + mobo.
currently running it with 16gb ddr5 and had a rtx 2060 from old build i was gonna pair in the meantime but it had corrosion and verdigris so it wasn’t working well.
My question is what GPU would pair good with this combo? The market is a bit expensive right now so i’m just looking for a good gpu that isn’t too expensive and can run all my games in 1080p high/max settings.
thank you!

Just about anything is reasonable with those requirements, with higher-end cards just giving you future-proofing at better FPS/$.
Red team: 9060 XT 16 GB ($420), 9070 ($619), 9070 XT ($700)
Green team: 5060 Ti 16 GB ($500), 5070 ($630)

ended up getting a 3070, i’ll upgrade to a 5080 when prices get a little better hopefully haha but i dont regret getting the 3070 as it runs everything with good fps!

Are you sure you have the right CPU? 9600x3d doesn't exist.

yeah i mistakenly put 9600 instead of r5 7600x3d, my bad
harrisrainy@reddit
Can you look if it's 7600x3d?
janprod@reddit (OP)
yeah it is that’s my bad, i purchased a 3060 — i’m aware it’s a bottleneck however it fits my needs and got it for $170 so it’ll be good for now

Honestly any GPU you can afford would be fine when paired with a resolution that makes sense. Even the RTX5050 that gets hated on us a good 40% plus stronger than your old RX2060. On the used side maybe look for a RTX3070 or better.

yeah i ended up going with 3070 that i purchased today — works wonderfully in all games ive tested 120+ fps on every game max settings all i really need to be honest

Confirm your CPU. As far as I know the 9600X3D doesn't exist.

What would you guys do for 4k if you don't want to blow 5090 money?

5070Ti is fine. Works great with LG 45GX950.
Separate-Response810@reddit
5080, very underpowered card at stock you can easily get around 10% more performance with overlocking which puts it within a few % of a stock 4090.

5080, 5070Ti, or 9070XT

rtx 5070 super - rtx 5070 ti super if gaming at 1440p.

If you're just doing 1080p, the 9060 XT 16GB is the way to go if buying new, unless you can find a deal on the 5060 ti 16GB.

A 9060xt or a 5060ti would give you great performance for years to come at 1080p
