v1.2 adds grooves to top and bottom of selector lever. Price returns to MSRP Saturday.
docwayne@reddit
Sooo uhhh, this'll for my AP5 Navy? 🤑🤑
BurnerAcctThuggin@reddit
Yall are taxing. ARCs have been under $180ish for a while now, with prices as low as $150. Crazy to pay over $200 for V1s when V2s come out this week and will be $225 with 10% off.
SnooSeagulls1413@reddit
I bought it at 215 :(
Disastrous-Ball-1574@reddit
Scuse me sir, where did you hear it was coming out this week? I've been holding off on buying an ap5 lower till I could get the 2.0 version. This is an exciting turn of events, hopefully they roll it out to the assembled lower option too.
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Good to know, we won't be restocking. I had concerns from the start when there was no MAP policy and no business verification required. We operate a real machine shop with real overhead and invested significantly to bring this product to the community. We simply can't compete with garage sellers undercutting on price. So here's what we're going to do: recover our costs, absorb the overhead, and move on to bringing you better products down the road. Check the price now.
HRslammR@reddit
I'd <3 yall forever if you could also do an ambi 3pos FRT.
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Our jackrabbit is going to be a "tuned" FRS with ambi milspec slector levers.
Island08@reddit
What do you mean by tuned? Also props for responding to feedback. Thanks for being human!
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
While I haven't been keeping up with their improvements, the original FRS had cam geometry that was out of spec, oversized profiles caused binding. Many people needed to reshape (tune) them in order to get them to work. On top of this, the reset lever/cams were seemingly MIM/cast with light CNC finishing, which left them with poor impact resistance and inconsistent surface finish. Our revision machines the levers from billet steel, corrects the cam geometry to eliminate the interference fit, and made the selector lever look and feel milspec. It's a ground-up improvement, not just a cosmetic refresh.
LinuxMyTaco@reddit
I was worried you were just reselling atrius based on the pics on the site but this is a fantastic update.
Awesome stuff guys. I hated my atrius because I had a lot of those problems. My fudd stuff just runs.
Arkele@reddit
Will the jackrabbit work with a larue mbt2s?
ZenBarlow@reddit
Already have a SS from you guys, I’ll wait for Jackrabbit. I’d rather support actual shops creating jobs, actively engaging with customers, and new products than save $40.Â
Complete_Term5956@reddit
I too am interested to hear more about this ambi milspec levers and stronger arm device.
Danimin420@reddit
In for 1 to help ya clear inventory
BigSankey@reddit
Man I already bought two SC7 kits but now I should buy two more, just to support this behavior. Runs perfect in my PSA 10.5 btw. Keep up the good work and we will keep buying.
No_Excitement_5317@reddit
Just ordered one, You guys are what this community needs. I’ve got two of your original SS which run flawless. People should really notice that a big advantage of doing business with you guys too is that their data stays just that, theirs.
RyAllDaddy69@reddit
Transparent as FUCK.
I’ve supported you guys from the beginning, and will continue to do so, and this comment is just one of the reasons why.
It’s nice to see constructive feedback taken positively, and the action plan to change it is respectable.
Since you guys are a machine shop, can I shoot you a PM about small batch anodizing? I’m sure you guys don’t do it in-house but I’m looking for some recommendations.
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
We can point you in the right direction based on your needs. Just put in a ticket on the site under "Contact" and we'll get back to you ASAP.
RyAllDaddy69@reddit
You the man brotha!
GrapplerVigilante@reddit
Y’all real as fuck for this!!!!
GreatVeterinarian825@reddit
Where are you seeing 150 or 180 I literally paid 250 2 weeks ago from AS designs directly lol
TazBaz@reddit
https://hk21.com/ still has them for $200 with the code on the same page. They had a sale last week for another $50 off.
I’ve seen them for $180 elsewhere as well.
Given the V2 is listed at $250, but they have a non-ambi option for $200, Imma sit for now. I’m pretty sure I don’t want ambi (deleted it on my Scorpion) and for the same price as a v1, might as well just wait, unless other info comes out
BloodyRimhole@reddit
Well buying direct is usually always more expensive, so there's that
Strange_Tamers69@reddit
They were 150 on here a week ago. And he left the code active for over a week. Free shipping
medicalboa@reddit
Oof. just search back a weeks on gundeals. Bought mine a few weeks ago for $172otd
moneybagmeisenheimer@reddit
Where is the 10% off for V2?
lmaogoshi@reddit
No shipping to WA, sad. Guess I'm shooting semi like a peasant this weekend
evasive-manuever@reddit
Do these require a special trigger or tuning? Or are they plug-and-play ready to go?
TubeSockLover87@reddit
I feel like this is BIN not because of price but because theyre being sold at all.Â
DisasterDesigner8134@reddit
Nope
SplashingBlumpkin@reddit
I bought one! I don’t have a Fudd arms sticker on my gun case yet.

I just installed two of the fudd arms super safety kits that were buy one get one on here. Their detent is much squishier than my set ups, and I usually have to trim the selector spring when I do mine. These with a full length spring have no audible click when you change positions. My question is... am I wearing out my cams in my set ups by having the audible click when shifting positions? There isn't resistance or anything it just clicks. These kits with a full length spring dont click....
GrouchTheMongolian@reddit
depends? a harder "seat" would click and a softer one would not if that makes sense. also if one material is harder than the other then yes, over time you would be slowly mashing the material down or would dig.
RoyalSteele@reddit
Who is waiting this out? Price has to come down as competition increases, right?
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Price came down to what we can reasonably sustain. We're not trying to profit here, just recover our investment. That said, if anyone from AS is reading this: a MAP policy would go a long way toward keeping people selling your products.
realribsnotmcfibs@reddit
You’re reselling but wanting to ensure your cut.
Reasonable but at the end of the day why shouldn’t someone be able to move units.
Want to ensure your investment make your own products and find your place in the market (like you may). The reselling business will always be cut throat but it also a brain dead operation.
Zealousideal-Chef448@reddit
Cause if you buy say 50k of inventory and now you have to sell 50k of inventory - if that inventory is now not as liquid you are holding back the rest of your business from moving onto other products or innovation. It would be better to stay out of it since if you arent going to make a profit, you're not going to do it from a business perspective one can imagine. All businesses buy and sell a product. Good ones understand how that product is going to sell and how fast.
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
This is BIN for ARC. It is patent-pending technology, technically we weren't given a MAP but this is about as low as makes sense.
gguy128@reddit
They were $150 last week. I picked up 2.
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Looks like that code now brings it down to 212.98. Someone must have made a typo, and that guy is for sure fired.
Patrickrk@reddit
Yeah it definitely couldn’t have been a loss leading product to drive traffic to the website or create a positive opinion of the business.
Entry-Level-Cowboy@reddit
What trigger you going with?
gguy128@reddit
I run mostly milspec (this is my 5th ArcFire) but I'm building a LimaSix and just picked up an SSA.
Entry-Level-Cowboy@reddit
Do you have the jig to cut the G triggers?
gguy128@reddit
No, I need to print one
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Holy crap. I wonder how they were able to offer that kind of pricing.
spectre1992@reddit
Same
tefl0n18@reddit
Where deal
superdudeman12@reddit
Appears you struck a nerve. They’re $180 now. 🤣 Don’t mind if I do.
Entry-Level-Cowboy@reddit
Yea was cheaper last week
Aware_Donkey_6074@reddit
Too bad ammo is getting ridiculous again ðŸ«
Crafty-Strategy-7959@reddit
The fuck is v1.2?
BlazeOrange3@reddit
V1 with the mil spec Ambi safeties is my guess.
BlazeOrange3@reddit
Yup I was wrong
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
They added grooves on the selectors that run perpindicular to the frame.
CraZyCHile@reddit
Grooved selector.
Wunktacular@reddit
I prefer "ribbed for your pleasure."
