The US could start a conflict with the stated goal of having the opposing leader suck the POTUS' cock, destroy the other nation's military, oust their leader and 15 successors, take 0 casaulties, obtain every valuable resource in their land, call ir a day and go home, and people would say rhe US was defeated because r
That nation's leader never felatwd the POTUS. Do you think anyone would let the US claim victory if another country killed Trump, Vance, and the next 10 or so guys, destroyed our Navy, etc, but we didn't change our political system or something?

If iranian military is destroyed then what's controlling the Hormus Strait, shooting down USA aircraft and bombarding oil infrastructure in region?
Another question, if Trump was assassinated along with his 15 closest associates, would that mean that it's over for USA, the country is gone? It's not a fucking movie, where you just have to kill the evil king and the war is won. There's always someone to replace them.
If the USA and 15 associates were gone, third worldists like you would never claim the US won because there wasn't a regime change. The US doesn't even rely on the Syrait of Hormuz, China relies way more on it and I doubt things will pan out so that China and co. get free passage and the US has to pay.
You don't have to live in the third world to be a third worldist. Every benefit you have is a result of Daddy America protecting you and enabling your do-nothing nations to give your do-notjing people benefits along with the millions of invaders they bring in to rape your women and degrade your country. You probably defend tnose governments and those people. Say thank you to Daddy America. You guys have to suck life out of our cocks just like Israel does. You're just too weak and pathetic to actually stop Muslims from killing you.
Paying double for gas because a pedophile doesn’t want his rape tapes released so he started bombing browns in the Middle East seems decently meaningful idk
I mean, you're paying more at the pumps and rises the cost of everything in the economy due to rising energy costs but other than that it doesn't have any impact in your life.
That’s how these things work for the invader/invaded though. For America, anything other than total victory is defeat whereas for Iran, anything other than total defeat is a victory.

Well, as Clausewitz points out, one doesn’t need to be losing a war for a ceasefire to be attractive bc there are other countries around, who are preserving their strength and could strike, its why we don’t fight entirely to extermination
It seems to me like the US are the suicidal religious fanatics airdropping people into drone missile fire while their bases are burned with nowhere to sleep.
Its sad but Americans will be going to India to get better jobs after this. They'll be a refugee crisis into Canada and Mexico.
Pure copium. The us Will play 2 million for every ship, in what was once, free warpers, and lift all sanctions. The us Lost, much like they Lost vietnam.
Yeah, Iran claimed that's what the US agreed to and the White House immediately denied it. The Ayatollah's literally just making shit up and you bought it lmao
Man, I don't know how you caught that while the rest of the world missed it! Someone better tell the American ship captains in the Persian Gulf that they are WAY lost
The us uses it, even if They didnt, since The American economy isnt a closed system, other fuel sources are only available because The total supply is high. When it drops, countries flock to other sources, causing prices to increased for everybody as demand is mantained but supply drops 20%.
Think of it like food and personal expenses. If company A makes 20% of all food, even if you dont buy from company A, if that company stops producing, 20% of The supply disapears, which means other people, who usually buy from A, now buy from your sources, increasing price, not just by 20%, but much more.
They’re winning economically or are you regarded? How much money have we spent and how much have they spent to chokehold oil and supply chains because of a fucking waterway passage?
No shit. This war is fucking dumb, but the idea that the US isn't just pulverizing them daily is hilarious. They literally have no other choice, that's why they're not surrendering.
Is there a source that says only the US will have to pay tolls for oil through the strait? Not starting shit I’m actually asking because I’ve been looking to read more about it and can’t find anything that says that (but could be missing something)
There is not. Asian countries have made deals with Iran and are getting through but the nature of the deals is not public knowledge. The toll is to be paid only in Yuan or Crypto, which might mean something.
Tolling a straight is not exactly legal, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea expressly forbids it and Oman controls half of the straight but then again it’s not like anybody is playing by the rules.
That’s what it was sounding like - that the official stance is everyone will have to pay a toll now (still not a winning outcome), but also that it’s not legal but to your point, the rules are a meme for this whole mess basically
No damage to US soil, but our bases got hammered. They still have control of the straight. The US has only lost assets so far with no gain. Nobody is winning.

NEVER forget the 6 million iranian protesters or ELSE
Sounds like a plan made by 12yo who watched few youtube videos and believes he's now an expert in geopolitics.
Either that or the current USA leadership.
yup... that was the whole plan much like those ethnic Russians in Ukraine who happy with being treated like dogs by Kiev would take up arms and fight for their Hebrew master
Holy NPC. Russia has much deeper and better tied to israel and Jews as a whole than Ukraine. Also Ukraine treats Russians as a whole better than Russia itself, pows being the best example
even after boots on ground there is no gurantee that the regime will not come back. Its ok that some regime hates usa or is religious as long as they do not have nuclear weapons
Teheran is a mountain fortress, super hard to take over by ground invasion. Air support and rockets can only achieve so much. And even if eventually it was taken, Iran is actually very decentralized and divided to many fractions. Large parts of the country would still continue the guerrilla fight, which could be pretty destructive in the era of cheap drones.
The Shahed is based on a downed US drone (Sentinel). I'm guessing the reason America can't replicate their strategy is that it's not willing to attack civilian infrastructure the way Iran is. The US does understand the threat of drones and cheap ballistics, which is why things like blackbeard and laser defenses are in the works.
If we're going to armchair QB, I think their biggest mistakes were:
* Protecting some of the IRGC instead of being committed early on to either wiping out the IRGC or not. Going halfway was really dumb because it just hardened the survivors further. Killing the family of theocratic militants isn't going to make it easier to bring them to the negotiating table.
* Keep saying or implying no ground invasion, this seems dumb whether you will do a ground invasion or not.
* Not appearing to have a strategy of working with Iranian resistance. Even if they did a little of this, I don't see why it couldn't have been done weeks in advance of going in. Iran has a large army with a fair number of people that may defect (there were prior evidence of defections). I am not talking about IRGC obviously - I mean the conscript army which is much larger than IRGC and also has access to weapons depots.
* Appearing to not realize that they would use Hormuz against you.
"The Shahed is based on a downed US drone (Sentinel)."
lol no, they have nothing in common. One is a jet powered drone with stealth features and advanced avionics, communication systems and sensors. The other is a flying moped with basic GLONASS/GPS guidance and a warhead.
Alright "based on" is strong, I didn't mean a copy. But it is true they started from that. I'm not saying they didn't make a lot of changes and cost cutting. Of course the main advantage of Shahed is they could pump them out cheaply.
Its obvious as you may notice how Europeans are regressing as they are importing migrants. Look up the neanderthal gene markup in Europeans and there's also warrior gene in Africans. When they mix they Fuck up the gene pool hence why Europe and the west is regressing and suffering from low testosterone and sperm count along with birth rate.
I mean you're right, but as a side note Jewish populations have higher Neanderthal genetics and those that your quoting count them in with the White total. Raises the average even though it's primarily focused in one group within the larger group.
this war really exposed the amount of people who think fighting a war is like a team death match where if you kill 100 of them before they kill 100 of us you are 'winning'.
This is what 100% of the Americans who would actually volunteer think. It's also why they just claimed every murdered civilian in Vietnam was VC, so they could keep the K/D delusion going.
If this sticks, Iran's leverage increased tenfold. The only thing America accomplished was letting the entire region know their bases are worthless and their tech is overpriced, inefficient and extremely vulnerable.

Sounds like a plan made by 12yo who watched few youtube videos and believes he's now an expert in geopolitics.
Either that or the current USA leadership.
HippoRun23@reddit
Turns out they didn’t actually want that. Apparently when your country is attacked you put your differences aside and root for the home team.
SkeetonherValentine@reddit
Only a fucking idiot thought the US and Israel, friends of Epstein, had the Iranian’s best interest in mind.
bannabananabanna@reddit
yup... that was the whole plan much like those ethnic Russians in Ukraine who happy with being treated like dogs by Kiev would take up arms and fight for their Hebrew master
hitraptor@reddit
Holy NPC. Russia has much deeper and better tied to israel and Jews as a whole than Ukraine. Also Ukraine treats Russians as a whole better than Russia itself, pows being the best example
ZyklonFart@reddit (OP)
Can we just accept that both Russia and Ukraine provide a large quantity of meat shields to Israel and be friends?
bannabananabanna@reddit

even after boots on ground there is no gurantee that the regime will not come back. Its ok that some regime hates usa or is religious as long as they do not have nuclear weapons
axelkoffel@reddit
Teheran is a mountain fortress, super hard to take over by ground invasion. Air support and rockets can only achieve so much. And even if eventually it was taken, Iran is actually very decentralized and divided to many fractions. Large parts of the country would still continue the guerrilla fight, which could be pretty destructive in the era of cheap drones.
FinancialElephant@reddit
The Shahed is based on a downed US drone (Sentinel). I'm guessing the reason America can't replicate their strategy is that it's not willing to attack civilian infrastructure the way Iran is. The US does understand the threat of drones and cheap ballistics, which is why things like blackbeard and laser defenses are in the works.
If we're going to armchair QB, I think their biggest mistakes were: * Protecting some of the IRGC instead of being committed early on to either wiping out the IRGC or not. * Appearing to not realize that they would use Hormuz against you.
kers2000@reddit
"The Shahed is based on a downed US drone (Sentinel)."
lol no, they have nothing in common. One is a jet powered drone with stealth features and advanced avionics, communication systems and sensors. The other is a flying moped with basic GLONASS/GPS guidance and a warhead.
FinancialElephant@reddit
Alright "based on" is strong, I didn't mean a copy. But it is true they started from that. I'm not saying they didn't make a lot of changes and cost cutting. Of course the main advantage of Shahed is they could pump them out cheaply.
gorgus1977@reddit
Iranians are not brown. Arian ir iranian are the name origin.

OG Aryans beat the wannabes
Intelligent_Fig_550@reddit
Anglo saxons have much more Aryan DNA than Iranians lol
SkeetonherValentine@reddit
That’s nothing to be proud of lmfao. Hurr durr they got more arbitrary genes than the other group.
LukeJaywalker0@reddit
But the people with certain genes have superior everything along every metric so how is it arbitrary
SKRyanrr@reddit
Neanderthal genes fucked any potential anglos had with the Aryan genes
Intelligent_Fig_550@reddit
What
SKRyanrr@reddit
European gene pool has too much neanderthal genes that interferes with the Aryan genes and decreases their potential
Intelligent_Fig_550@reddit
Source?
SKRyanrr@reddit
Its obvious as you may notice how Europeans are regressing as they are importing migrants. Look up the neanderthal gene markup in Europeans and there's also warrior gene in Africans. When they mix they Fuck up the gene pool hence why Europe and the west is regressing and suffering from low testosterone and sperm count along with birth rate.
xsil@reddit
Black Americans are generally more likely than White Americans to identify as LGBTQ+, or trans
tyschooldropout@reddit
I mean you're right, but as a side note Jewish populations have higher Neanderthal genetics and those that your quoting count them in with the White total. Raises the average even though it's primarily focused in one group within the larger group.

It's rock-paper-scissor situation. The US defeated Iran, but Iran defeated Israel, and Israel defeated the US long ago.
TomatoSpecialist6879@reddit
>US defeated Iran
Ah yes US totally defeated Iran, especially now:
Sanctions fully lifted off Iran and Russia
Strait are now closed permanently to US and US allies who don't negotiate a deal with Iran separately
All we did was kill a bunch of old turbans who got swiftly replaced, are you a bot or are you retarded?
pondermoreau@reddit
this war really exposed the amount of people who think fighting a war is like a team death match where if you kill 100 of them before they kill 100 of us you are 'winning'.
ForestClanElite@reddit
This is what 100% of the Americans who would actually volunteer think. It's also why they just claimed every murdered civilian in Vietnam was VC, so they could keep the K/D delusion going.
bannabananabanna@reddit
retard...
bots are there to convince stupid. they aren't stupid.
ZyklonFart@reddit (OP)
What goal did the US achieve?
If this sticks, Iran's leverage increased tenfold. The only thing America accomplished was letting the entire region know their bases are worthless and their tech is overpriced, inefficient and extremely vulnerable.
bannabananabanna@reddit
dont forget they now lost control of hormuz and their emirati tax havens are fucked
