Where’s the best affordable place to get a full body health screening in the UK?

Hey all,
Looking to get a full body health screening somewhere in the UK without spending a crazy amount.
Any recommendations for places that are decent and reasonably priced? Private clinics, hospital packages, whatever works.
Would be great to hear what you paid and what was included too.
Cheers

I was hoping it would be Rohin and I’m happy it is. There is no real evidence asymptomatic preventative screening is actually helpful in any way so I’d encourage OP or anyone else thinking about this to consider what they actually want from a full body checkup.

I completely agree, and the video does a really good job of explaining the why and nuances in an interesting way (at least I think it's interesting!)

Can I ask why?
Many professional doctors do not recommend this type of thing. Dr Mike is a good watch and explains that your causing worries that don't need to exist.
E.g. theres a marker that's increased, normally you body just does it's thing and you don't even know about it. But in this case your alerted to it via your testing. Now your worried and stressed about something that's going to go away on its own/your body will do it's thing.
I'm sure there was research that suggests every MRI on a Back will show 'problems' buldged discs, etc, etc. However not everyone suffers with back problems.
You should treat issues not test results.

After talking to neurosurgeons, I've learnt that degenerative issues in the spine are considered universal in anyone over the age of 30, and there are no end of patients who present wanting surgery for their spinal degeneration or Chiari malformation. Many people who find out they have had a minor Chiari malformation since birth find out by chance as an incidental finding, and it sends them into a spiral of thinking they're going to die and wanting unnecessary surgery.

Dr Mike the ogre shaped bodybuilder?

No.
Dr Mike the American GP equivalent. Family Doctor.

If you're generally fit and healthy maybe consider a basic set of bloods through someone like Medichecks, but honestly there's no need if you feel well.

Vista.
I havent personally used this place but NHS use them but they also offer private services, ultrasounds, MRIS (full body) CTs etc.
im in the northwest so you'll have to research the place yourself but, it's an option.

Just looked at the options for full health assessment or the plus version and they are 1k+ and 2k+ respectively. Obviously everyone's definition of relatively cheap/decent price is different but I was assuming OP was looking more around the 300 mark!
Immediate-Platform59@reddit
I don't think you would get any full body scanning for 300.
slippery-pineapple@reddit
Yes I assumed the company offered more than what the above comment was saying, and I assumed OP was more looking at just a full panel of blood tests and a chat with a Dr
captainfishpie@reddit
well, it depends what OP wants in terms of their health assessment as they didnt give us much info to go on.
I also did mention i didnt know much about the company, just that it was an option

What type of screening? If you’re looking for a whole body MRI they’re a waste of money it’s like taking a group pic and not being able to see anyone’s faces.

Be mindful of the rabbit hole that you will likely end up on if you do this. Every body has anomalies, many/most of which will never amount to anything we would notice but once you know about then (lumps/lesians etc) then you will feel compelled to investigate them further and it could take over your life.

What are you looking to achieve from this?
DeifniteProfessional@reddit
Benenden will do you a massive blood screening pretty cheap
