Instrument XC - 250NM Combined with Commercial XC Duals

hey guys!
ive been looking all over the Internet for a clear answer for this but couldnt find.
I know that there is nothing in the regulations that say you cant combine between the 250NM XC for the Instrument rating, and the Commercial 2 hour 100nm day and night.
as far as I understand its up to the DPE decision.
did anyone went for a checkride with doing so and the DPE sent him home?
thanks!
Instrument Requirement:
61.65 (D)(ii)
Commercial Requirement:
61.129 (3)(iii,iv)

My FBO doesn’t allow this practice as our DPEs tend to view 61.129 as VFR based req’s- although I think you’re right that it doesn’t specifically say that in the regs.
If your DPE allows it then that’s a nice money saver

Thanks

I combined the 250 nm with just the day 2 hour and the DPE was fine with it because I had both of the requirements listed in the comment in my logbook. I did not do all 3 in one flight.
I did the commerical night training flight during a different instrument training flight as well as logged some time towards 61.127 areas during instrument training.

As your CFI Iwould call the DPEs in my area to get their input.
