Sent a message to a page about receiving one, they replied saying they will send the message to the police..will I get into trouble for simply asking about one?

I think a little more context is required here.
But it sounds like you sent something sexual to a stranger on the internet, which is not a good look.
There is a high chance nothing will happen.
HawkwardGames@reddit
The context is he sent unsolicited sexual messages to a stranger online and is now worrying about the fallout. That’s pretty much all the context needed.
seriousrikk@reddit
I assumed that was the case but wondered if OP would own it.
Seems not.

No, as a nation we crave misery.

Horny jail for you!

"A page"? You mean the business page of a legitimate masseuse? Gross. Imagine trying to go about your daily life at work and someone suddenly asks you to wank them off. It's creepy, stop it.
johnnyjonnyjonjon@reddit
The actual answer is that they’re not legal in a commercial setting in the UK (like a massage parlour), and anywhere offering them can get in trouble. In practice, any enforcement would be on the businesses rather than recipients. Simply asking about it isn’t something you’d get in trouble for.

Although it's unlikely to go anywhere and probably something they are telling you so you don't send dodgy stuff like that to their page again, it's likely they hear it all the time.
However KIV for the future if it were to go to the police it would fall under "Sexual offences, not rape(suspect)" which is a very broad spectrum that covers some very dark sexual offences and some mundane. Either way it's not something you want hanging on your police profile for the rest of your life.

They are legal.
You're unlikely to get into trouble for asking, if you were respectful.. If you keep asking it will likely be classed as harassment.
Prostitution is legal in the UK. The issues arise when there are multiple SWs in the same premises, which would make it a brothel.

I'm imagining this going to court. "your honour, happy ending could mean anything. My client never suggested they wanted to ejaculate"
Over-Language2599@reddit
I can't believe there is enough of a legitimate market for massages to warrant the huge number of massage parlours around. Two on them virtually next door to a sex shop.

In the North happy endings are banned. You get put in the pillory at the top of Pendle Hill and get flogged with flat caps for even mentioning one. Shame on you.

The only related crime here in the UK is soliciting prostitution in public.
Given that it was a private message, you’ve done nothing illegal so you don’t need to worry as long as you end all communication now to avoid harassment.
That said, don’t be a creep man. Just assume that all masseuses aren’t going to wank you off for cash and if you really want it, go to visibly dodgy ones and wait for them to offer it to you.

What’s wrong with you?! That’s such an awful thing to have to deal with if you’re just trying to do your job. There are places you can go and they’re fairly obvious but don’t go asking professional therapists for a handjob.
But you won’t get in trouble legally. It’s not illegal to ask. It is generally illegal to offer such services but it’s in the category of not in the public interest to prosecute providing no one is being trafficked or exploited.

I’m reporting this post to the police.

They must be. Del and Rodney ended up millionaires. I was very happy for them.
Mind you they fucked it up later so maybe not.
sheepandlambs@reddit
Not in the ending. They ended up with 135k each I believe, minus paying off all their debts.
Still a happy ending, especially with Rodney's daughter being born, but not millionaires in the end.
HawkwardGames@reddit
Dirty bastard. Bold enough to ask, suddenly nervous when there might be consequences.
VandelSavagee@reddit
make them an offer they can’t refuse
sheepandlambs@reddit
Sounds like prostitution to me.
