9070xt vs 5070ti, I cannot decide between the two

Hello, my friend is offering me a 9070xt at a really good price and now I’m conflicted if spending the extra money is worth it for a 5070ti. Thanks in advance!
This is what I was originally going to get:

I will be buying some parts second hand or bundled from MicroCenter so price is not an issue and I am within my budget with this current build.

No, 5070ti is to expensive. 9070xt trades blows with 5080. I do not take ai shit into account
TopExplanation138@reddit
It doesn't trade blows with the 5080, but it does with the 5070 ti, if it did then there would be no reason to pay over 1k for a 5080.
geemad7@reddit
It does, but never mind anyway.
TopExplanation138@reddit
Your probably thinking about the 4080 not the 5080, and even then the 4080 is usually a bit faster.

Wrong

I had to make the same choice when building my pc. 5070ti is just better if you’re willing to spend the price difference. If you’re on a budget then go for the 9070xt. There’s really no other point other than price when it comes to choosing. also, what games do you play? what are your other components?
StiingRay18@reddit (OP)
I play Marvel Rivals, Elden Ring, CyberPunk, and Fortnite. This will be my first pc so everything in the pc part picked list would be what I’m getting.

I also play cyberpunk and fortnite. amd has nothing comparable to path tracing in games like cyberpunk and as of fortnite, nvidia reflex is the best

if money is not a problem 5070 ti no brainer

9070xt all day. Unless you can somehow in this universe find a 5070ti for cheaper.
According_Spare7788@reddit
If you don't care about the price, 5070 ti.
If you are budget constrained and want the most value, 9070 xt.
DLSS is still superior, but you pay for it. If you don't really use it, or care ray tracing/path tracing, then the radeon is a better choice.

This 1000%

Honestly, I can't distinguish between DLSS4 and FSR4. Both looks the same for my naked eye.
I do wish I got the 5070TI tho just because it use like 100w less and majority of game support dlss but not many for fsr4. So you had to use optiscaler work around which is a minor inconvenience that adds up. But 5070ti was like £180 more expensive when i bought my gpu, so not worth it for me.

5070ti

My best friend has the 9070xt and I have the 5070ti. We game together and I’d take the 5070 to every time. When he watches me stream he’d always impressed, he always has little bugs I don’t have when a new game comes out. I’m very happy w the ti

The gap between these two is really tiny. Nvidia´s features are a bit better then AMD´s but you´ll barely notice that. The raw power is pretty much the same, in some applications the 5070ti is better and in some the 9070xt is better. However the price for the 9070xt is better.
So if you are on a budget you´r best choice is the 9070xt, otherwise feel free to pick the 5070ti

The 9070XT. Much cheaper, same performance.
SituationSmooth9165@reddit
whats the 9070xt price
StiingRay18@reddit (OP)
$650 with a Evga 1000 g2 Supernova included
SituationSmooth9165@reddit
save that ridiculous amount of money and upgrade everything else in your PC, Get a nicer case, motherboard with more feature support, maybe future proof PSU, heaps of things better spent that a 5070ti here
bitesized314@reddit
For that price, it's worth it.
