Reselling football tickets for profit in the UK is illegal. So, face value.
andweapon@reddit (OP)
Im dont intend to make profit, only cut my losses, so I hope to get a smart estimate price to sell them on facebook or other places so I dont get laughed at asking for too much haha
CrossCityLine@reddit
Doesn’t matter. Still illegal.
Elvis_Precisely@reddit
Face value of the ticket should be printed on the ticket/on the order confirmation if it’s an e-ticket.
Usual_Concentrate_58@reddit
That's a relegation 6-pointer, so you should be able to sell them off at face value
DaveBeBad@reddit
It is illegal to resell premier league tickets, so legally you can’t resell them.
Did you buy them direct from the club? - in which case you might be able to get a refund due to the change in dates, otherwise it’s down to luck and whichever dodgy site you sell them on.
andweapon@reddit (OP)
Bought them from spurs official partner p1travel and they told me they dont issue refunds in these cases
Swimming_Possible_68@reddit
They are trying to fob you off.
They are spurs official ticketing partner, therefore a 1st party seller.
The circumstances you had agreed to when you bought the ticket have changed (date) meaning you can't attend.
Under the Consumer rights act 2015 you are legally entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket. (Unfortunately not the no doubt exorbitant booking fees).
This is where knowing your rights is really useful. Get back on touch with them and tell them you are legally entitled to a refund under the above legislation, I would also add that you don't appreciate the fact they didn't seem to know this and that it has created significant stress as its a lot of money to potentially lose for something outside of your control. So as a gesture of goodwill you would also appreciate the refunding of booking fees (they will probably say no, but it's a perfectly reasonable ask).
I hate companies that try and get out of their legal obligation.
Honestly, the Consumer Rights act is your friend. Far too many consumer facing companies try to fob people off.
ClockAccomplished381@reddit
Yep you should be able to get refunds if the date is changed.
Expensive-Estate-851@reddit
Yeah this, change of date and the club usually will take them back to resell
Swimming_Possible_68@reddit
The date has been moved.
You are legally entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If it's from Spurs official ticketing partner, they are lying to you and breaking the law by saying you are not entitled to a refund it was a secondary website it would be trickier.
From Which? consumer website:
DameKumquat@reddit
And if they are uncooperative, a credit card company should refund you promptly. Debit cards may also.
Nosworthy@reddit
Face value or free
Voodoopulse@reddit
Touts are slime, sell them at face value to actual match going fans
Crazy-Practice1918@reddit
To see Spurs atm? You'll probably have to give them away
andweapon@reddit (OP)
Yeah thats excatly what I fear haha
DanielReddit26@reddit

Whatever the face value is
AutoModerator@reddit
It looks like you've written the pound sign (£) after the number 170, but it should be written before the number like this:
£170.^(I am an annoying bot, so please don't be offended.)
