It's not totally impractical. There aren't many big bore semi automatics, and even fewer ones with short barrels. If you live somewhere with dangerous game, and need to take them down at more than 100 yards easily, this is probably your best option.
But if you actually live somewhere with dangerous game and need to take them out at more than 100 yards, you aren't buying meme rifles that cost $4,000.

Throw something like an OCL Infinity on there like this guy did where you're not getting a TBI with every shot, and as long as 200gr or 220gr is still getting over 2,000 FPS at the muzzle you basically have something like a semi auto 30-30 Win in a PDW. Admittedly still pretty niche but it'd make a handy and capable farm truck/tractor gun for example.

It's a meme gun they make a small batch and sell it to youtubers and collectors. Frisco has exactly 1 of these in stock and I bet you they're more or less made to order on Nemo. It has a fucking SBA3 on it and they sell it for $4K-$5K, it's probably a $3500 profit margin with each sale.
