Thanks for posting. This should be very helpful for someone meeting that criteria!
If I may make a suggestion, cross-post this (if you haven't already) to r/sysadminjobs for more visability.

Salary Range is roughly 75-100k based on experience.
What HR will offer is 50K and "generous benefits" like 5 days PTO and $400 a week health insurance

I will make an edit and notify our HR Team to add the range as I agree.

This posting is doing a lot of heavy lifting with the ESOP and culture talk while asking for a pretty wild range of skills. 5+ years with Entra ID, Azure, M365, Windows Server, plus VMware/Nutanix/HyperV, scripting, backup systems, imaging, networking, security best practices… that’s senior level breadth but they titled it “System Administrator” and only ask for a 2 year degree. Usually means they want senior skills at a mid-level budget. My favorite part is “Additional professional certifications requested (such as MSCE, etc.?)”. They misspelled MCSE and Microsoft killed that cert line years ago. If your IT leadership doesn’t even know what current certs look like (AZ-104, MS-102, etc) that tells you something about how plugged in management is on the technical side.
Also the actual job duties section says almost nothing. “Listen to the end user and ask questions to solve issues” and “research and solve problems” are listed as both duties AND requirements. That’s not a job description, that’s a fortune cookie. What does the actual day to day look like? How big is the environment? How many users, endpoints, sites? Who do you report to? How big is the team? None of that is in here. And no salary range. In 2026. For a role asking for 5+ years of experience across like 15 different technologies. NC doesn’t require it yet but companies that are actually confident in their comp don’t hide it. “Competitive pay” is doing the same thing as “MSCE” in this posting, just vibes with no substance behind it.

I agree to this, its not as clear as it could be.

Yeah and that’s the thing, if you’re asking someone to come in with 5+ years across that many technologies you owe them a clear picture of what they’re walking into. The vagueness works in your favor not the candidate’s. Also might want to double check that MSCE in the requirements, that’s a Master of Science in Civil Engineering not an IT cert. Unless the sysadmin is also expected to go survey a drainage ditch between Intune deployments.
