32gb.
And without the timings, frequency doesn't mean much.
owengaff@reddit
No mention of CAS latency, but I'd go with the 32GB kit. Total latency should be around 10nm as a sweet spot, otherwise don't worry about it, go with the larger kit.
ATFGunr@reddit
Between background apps and gaming like BF6, I’ll average 50% ram usage with the 32 gb I have. Go for 32! That was you don’t have to worry about background usage.
Complex_Direction488@reddit
Kinda depends on the CPU you're getting tbh. I'd still go with the 32 kit tho and look into oc'ing it to 3600 or 3477 depending on what die it is.

16 more gb is so much better than 400 more mhz
Naive_Cardiologist_6@reddit
get 64GB and youll thank me later

i only have 1000$ for a full upgrade 200 is max for ram
Naive_Cardiologist_6@reddit
32GB is just superior.
ChengliChengbao@reddit
32GB is enough for 90% of people
i have 64GB and the only time i've run out of memory was probably when i attempted to use 7zip to archive a 108GB folder
guacamolejones@reddit
16gb is very little for Windows these days even without gaming IMO.

Capacity > speed&latency

32GB of course, totally no brainer. U won't even feel the difference between 3200 and 3600.
gamblodar@reddit
Ram is like disk space - having more doesn't matter unless you run out (let's ignore disk cache for a second). If the applications and games you play take less that 16GB of ram, the faster ram will be better, otherwise get the 32GB.
The speed difference isn't massive, so I'd just get the 32GB either way.
mgp901@reddit
Yea, and the use case is gaming + streaming. Most modern games alone will eat that 16gb easily.
VersaceUpholstery@reddit
32gb
3200mhz cl16 and 3600mhz cl18 are basically the same thing in performance
16gb and 32gb are not at all, and you’ll probably need it for streaming
TheKitler@reddit
Get the 32gb kit
aragorn18@reddit
Almost certainly the larger amount of slower RAM. The performance difference between 3200 MT/s and 3600 is rather small.
Hawk7117@reddit
32gb is almost always going to be better than 16gb unless its like 2133mhz or something.
This close in speeds you are pretty much just getting 2x as much ram going for 32gb
