Is Corsair 5400 Air (LXR) worth it?

Hey everyone,
I’m considering picking up the Corsair 5400 Air (LXR) case and wanted to hear some real-world experiences before pulling the trigger.
How’s the airflow and temps under load? Any quirks with cable management or build quality? Also curious about noise levels and how easy it is to work overall.
I’m also planning to pair it with a Corsair AIO Titan cooler, so if anyone has experience running that combo, I’d love to hear how it performs (fitment, temps, noise, etc.).
If you’ve built it in, I’d really appreciate your thoughts, pros, cons, or anything you wish you knew beforehand.
Thanks!

I don’t have that exact case but from people who’ve used it the general picture is pretty consistent:
airflow is decent but not amazing, it’s better than typical tempered‑glass show cases but if you’re pushing a high‑end GPU and AIO you might want to make sure you have good intake fans up front. temps are fine for everyday gaming, but it doesn’t flow like a mesh‑front “high‑airflow” case.
build quality is solid for the price, cable management is about average – it helps if you plan your routes before you start wiring up, there are enough tie points but space behind the tray isn’t huge so very fat bundles can be a bit snug.
noise levels aren’t bad, it’s not a silent‑focus case but nothing rattles or buzzes on its own. fans and the AIO pump will still be the main noise source.
fitment for a 360 AIO is supported, you should be able to mount it at the top without huge headaches. some people say if you do top rad + tall memory + big air cooler it gets a bit crowded, but with a Corsair AIO Titan it’s usually fine as long as you seat the pump/block cleanly.
overall pros:
cons:
If you’re going AIO + decent GPU, it won’t hold you back. If you want very low temps under heavy sustained loads, a full‑mesh front case would do better.

Good breakdown, sounds pretty aligned with what I was expecting from that kind of layout.
Out of curiosity, if you had to pick alternatives in the same general price/quality range, what would you go for instead?
I’m basically looking for something that:
Any cases you’d personally recommend over the 5400 Air (LXR) for that kind of setup?

Hey! If you’re looking for something that hits better airflow than average without sacrificing build quality, a few options come to mind in a similar price range: 1. Fractal Design Meshify 2 / Meshify C Full mesh front, excellent airflow Plenty of room for 360 mm AIO + large GPU Clean design, solid build quality, lots of cable management options 2. Lian Li Lancool II Mesh / Mesh II / Mesh Performance variants Airflow-focused, but still feels premium Good front intake, roomy interior for big builds Cable management is really nice 3. Phanteks Eclipse P400A / P500A Front mesh with great airflow Supports tall RAM + 360 mm radiator Build quality is solid, clean aesthetic 4. Cooler Master H500 / H500M Big mesh front fans, handles 360 mm AIO and high-end GPUs Slightly more “gamer-y” design, but excellent airflow and build quality My take: If your 9070XT + 360 mm AIO is the main concern, focus on full mesh front + good top radiator support. Avoid tempered-glass front-only cases if you care about airflow under load. Cable management varies, but most of the options above are better than average, and definitely more flexible than cheaper airflow-only cases.
Sorry for the late response.
