I just got front ended and have no clue when I’ll be able to afford a car again. There’s a trail tha makes up a little over half my ride maybe 6miles, I am looking for something do daily commute and everything I would goto event wise is also in the area. My price range isn’t very high and I’d like to keep it close too 4-800 I need something to get my back on my feet so I don’t lose my job.

Romatlink dolphin battery/dollar wise. Mechanical brakes are the drawback. If you maintain brakes well they stop okay.

Look at used e-bikes if your budget is that low. You can get a quality brand name e-bike for that price range. Stay away from off brand ebikes.

This. Be careful, OP. So many online reviews are fake. I have seen Lectric everywhere where I am but they might be out of your price range.
If you buy a new bike, realize that you may have to buy a pedal-assist if you’re buying a quality bike. If you put all that money into a powerful motor so you can just sit on your butt and work the throttle, the other components of the bike will be cheaper.
I haven’t tried Upway, which resells certified used e-bikes, but maybe others here have?

My buddy hates them, so many issues and warranty is your typical take pictures and videos, and often has to take more pictures and videos.
He just stopped contacting them for help. When I fly down, ill just fix all his issues. Nothing on their bikes is expensive to replace, besides the battery.

I have all three R7, R9, and R002. Great bikes and excellent customer service (on TikTok)

16 mile total commute most Ebikes can be decent but you would probably need to pedal to conserve battery. My lectric xp4 will drop to 60% after 5 miles throttle only, I switched to an electric unicycle after several Ebikes were getting stolen so I could store it under my desk or work closet.

I don't know what kind of speed your looking for or need. I bought the first generation of a Lectric Lite after an injury made getting my other bike in and out of the house difficult. I find I use more than my faster heavier bike. I usually pedal in pas 2 and my farthest ride has been 26 miles and plenty of battery left. It's only able to go 20 and I've never used throttle only. They have great customer service and also have partnered with shops in many areas for repairs. It is UL listed and compact enough for me to move around and store.

My Aipas A2 meets all your requirements and was less than $700, but I always have to include the disclaimer that I am apparently in the minority of owners who have had no issues with this company or it's products. Can't mention them without the downvotes, but they've served me well.
It probably wouldn't make the round trip at top speed, but 15mph would get you there and back a few times.

Look at Lectric, might be a little over your budget but good mail order comment imho
