It's already happening around here : Europe was using Americans software for decades and since Trump 2.0, it's suddently a priority to make our own apps.

Americans had their chance. Back in November 2024. They chose to give him the power. The only people who can stop this now (those in Congress) not only gave up a lot of their power to the Executive branch, but what little they can do, they won't (for a multitude of reasons).

People were warned this would happen. They saw how he reacted when he is on the losing end (Jan6). They heard and read all of the threats of being a dictator, of using a second term as a "revenge tour" (his words). They wanted it to happen from the start. Not sure what the rest of the world suggest people do in the meantime between now and the midterm elections (and this is an assumption that they will even happen, as Trump has also said he is willing to "suspend the Constitution").

Being "inspired" by Hezbollah and being "angry" about the Iran attacks are not the same thing you started out being concerned with.

Our crazy fuckhead, Israel's crazy fuckhead, or Iran's crazy fuckhead? I'm assuming this is more likely tied to the potential that Iran would be targeting oil infrastructure in Bahrain than anything to do with the US potentially attacking Iran in any significant way.

The US has our 5th fleet there and it's a stones throw away from Iran and has been a target in the recent target. Very likely that they're just trying to mitigate any non-military casualties in the event of a strike there.

There is a nuclear reactor in Bushehr, but Bahrain is probably far enough away that it wouldn't be directly impacted by the fallout - beyond the potential contamination of the Persian Gulf due to the proximity of Bushehr to the Gulf.

It's all fucked, but we still have a few hours before it's potentially completely fucked.
