-Intrepid-Path-@reddit
No, I fed them to myself
RoutineCloud5993@reddit
No. Bring fed cold congealed beans in a salad would have put me off then for life.
I know this because clearing tables as a teenager with cold, congealed beans put me off them for life.
StereotypicallBarbie@reddit
Who on earth eats cold baked beans with a salad?
I can only be thankful this was never a thing where I grew up.
LittleSadRufus@reddit
I wish I had your inexperience. Not only did we have a pool of cold beans with lettuce and tomatoes at home, this was also a standard offering at school
Present_Air_7694@reddit
No, I only learned to love this delicacy once I'd fully matured as an adult.
It seems some people answering have yet to evolve to this level. ;-)
AirlineSevere7456@reddit
I'll happily eat a whole tin of cold beans
fblthpthewise@reddit
It’s one of my preferred delivery methods
No-Structure-1980@reddit
Yes and she was a complete c***
tom-goddamn-bombadil@reddit
No but I do eat them cold out the can occasionally! My granny used to serve salad with hot mashed potato though and now I want that 😂 and I read a recipe for a salad with beans that really wanted to try before I lost the book. I think it was Ghanaian salad from Maya Angelou's cookbook. I might see if I can find it online somewhere.
Kapika96@reddit
No. Isn't that associated with homeless people?
Thestolenone@reddit
No, we were very poor but never had to eat cold beans.
Underwritingking@reddit
I love cold baked beans. Straight from the tin with a spoon. Yum.
Particular_Pickle465@reddit
No although I have been fed various dishes that have included leftover baked beans such as lasagna and shepherds pie.
Sure-Present-3398@reddit
Cold baked bean sandwich!!! White bread, loads of butter and I'm not sorry.
CALCIUM_CANNONS@reddit
Yup. I like to add a little HP sauce too
Expert_Dot1927@reddit
Trying that right now, with a crunchy layer of sea brooks ready salted
Seaside83@reddit
You will get hate for this, but I'm with you. It's fantastic!
Postik123@reddit
No, we had bean salad made with mayo and cold runner beans. Never cold baked beans though.
However I do eat baked beans cold. I think they taste better than way. It also means you can eat them out of the can, and save on washing up.
Expert_Dot1927@reddit
A connoisseur I see 🍺
BellendBuilder@reddit
There’s something wrong with you. Me too!
APithyComment@reddit
No - I hate baked beans texture. Fucking gross.
Slackdarren@reddit
Cold naked brand direct from the can. Yes pure luxury
Christian-Metal@reddit
Love cold baked beans!! It IS normal!!
sleepyprojectionist@reddit
I’m reasonably certain that this is prohibited by the Geneva Conventions.
Impossible_Delay1023@reddit
Never by my parents but I actually like eating beans straight from the can out of the cupboard now I’m adult, fuck knows what’s wrong me
BG3restart@reddit
Never.
Boboshady@reddit
I don't mind cold baked beans, but I've never seen them deliberately presented that way.
BubblerSpesh@reddit
Never this myself but I grew up in a poor bit of London and one of my pals went on a school trip to the museums with a tin of beans and an opener as his packed lunch ! Round about 1985.
BellendBuilder@reddit
I wasn’t alive in the 70s but cold beans are soooo much better than hot beans
Lonely-Job484@reddit
Cold haricot beans or similar in a salad is acceptable, but I assume you mean some lunatic upending a can of Heinz beans in tomato sauce... if so, no - maybe a north/south divide thing?
DistrustPilot@reddit
No but used to eat cold spaghetti hoops straight from the tin. What a treat
Euphoric_Rough_5245@reddit
No but my other half eats them cold. He’s weird like that.
Iscan49er@reddit
Cold baked beans with grated cheese on top and some bread and butter! This was in the 50s.
GeggingIn@reddit
Any salad was a bit too continental for Mum and Dad’s tastes.
BurkesRoad@reddit
I like them cold.
Boulderfist_CH@reddit
Yeah all the time. Didn’t think much of it really and will occasionally eat a tin cold if I can’t be arsed to cook.
One-Program6244@reddit
Yes. I though cold beans was the normal way of eating them until I saw an advert which enlightened me and exposed my parents to be deceitful scumbag liars.
Frankenbeasley@reddit
Yes, and Istill love cold beans with a hot jacket spud, but I mix horseradish into them. Delicious.
NortonBurns@reddit
Thankfully, no.
Interesting-Hawk-744@reddit
No I was not abused in this manner thankfully
