20x4.0" non knobby tyre recommendations.

My cheap and cheerful Koolux BK6S (aka Hitway BK6S) fat tyre folding ebike has ChaoYang 20x4.0" tyres. They are OK for doing light offroad stuff, however the majority of my ebike riding will be on road / gravel "utility" cycling, so I am thinking something with a smoother tread might be a better choice.
Is it also worthwhile changing from 4" to 3" wide tyres, however I'd need to check the width of the rims on the bike to see if 3" tyres would be too narrow.
What I am considering at the moment is Specialized Carless Whisper which come in at 20x3.5" although still somewhat knobbly, or Schwalbe Super Moto X 20x4.0" which is perhaps a better quality tyre (at more than twice the price of a Specialized Carless Whisper)
I am leaning more towards the Schwalbe as I have had good experience with this brand over the years on my road & touring bikes.

Vee Tire Co E-Huntsmans 20x3.5” are the best tires I would recommend

Those aren't so easy to get hold of in the UK.

They’re worth the trouble I absolutely love mine

Not at £90 a tyre plus £45 a tyre shipping from USA though! :-o

Yeah that’s a little excessive

Schwalbe tires have been the best ones I've ridden.

Agreed. I used Schwalbe Marathon greenguards on my acoustic touring bike, and Schwalbe Durano Plus when I had a road bike.

Super Moto X would absolutely roll faster, just don't take corners at speed on gravel.

lol, I don't cycle fast even on my ebike!
