Mid drive bafang m200 crank wiggle

Is this right ?
just bought a mid drive and the whole thing feels off , took it back to the shop and explained it feels like it’s not assisting enough , have to put a bit of pressure on the pedals and i feel it for a few seconds then it just feels like i’m riding against slight resistance all the time , also noticed this on the crank , if this was on a normal bike i’d be saying it’s the bottom bracket but im not sure with this if it’s normal or what .
Any ideas anyone ?

Sounds and looks like the BB is toast. I have no clue how that works with a mid-drive. It's a fairly easily replaceable part in non mid setups.

Try giving the bolt which secures the crank to the bottom bracket a tighten up!

it’s been done to the max , bikes a few days old from halfords , they couldn’t get it any tighter and it’s still like that .

Did they remove and refit the crank, or did they just try to tighten it up?

just tried to tighten it up , think the bike is cooked tbh , another one has been ordered to see if it has same problem
