Getting my boyfriend a gaming mouse except i dont know anything, help needed

Hi everyone, me and my boyfriend's monthly anniversary is coming up and i was planning to get him a new gaming mouse since his was spoilt. All i know was the previous mouse he's used was branded 'logitech'. Right now, im looking towards a budget mouse preferably 30-40USD as im a student. Any recommendations? He plays valorant only so im thinking of getting any mouse with less delay timing and a lighter weight. Thanks!
HankThrill69420@reddit
If he often complains about third party software, don't get a razer or asus mouse.
TheWinterRecruit@reddit
The Logitech G502 is hands down the best mouse I've ever used
quickbaboon99@reddit
Logitech G305
and if not that one then Razer DeathAdder V3
Hearth-Traeknald@reddit
I've been using the g305 wireless for the better part of the last decade, and I've never felt the need to upgrade. It's perfect.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ive heard good reviews about g305! But if he was playing valorant, would you say a wired or wireless mouse is better for him?
Hearth-Traeknald@reddit
The difference in latency between wired and wireless (2.5ghz dongle) mice nowadays is so minute that it genuinely comes down to if hes ok with changing batteries once a year or not. It's 1ms vs 1-2ms, while human reaction time is ~180ms. At that level of latency optimisation, you'd be looking at your cables and monitor first
I know from my experience at least that having a cord whipping around while playing and bunching up because your cable organizer doesnt retract fast enough is far more annoying than getting a small red LED two weeks before you have to swap the battery out for a fresh one you have right next to you in a drawer
FullmetalEzio@reddit
oh you have to change the batteries of the wirless mouse once a year? always used wired but i might be tempted to go full wireless soon
Matthais@reddit
It's the extreme option, but I have a Logitech G502 Lightspeed with a second-hand PowerPlay Mat I got off ebay, so I literally never have to think about charging.
digitalsmear@reddit
Most mice have lithium ion rechargables now and you plug it in, or put it on a charging stand to recharge. The battery in my Razer Basilisk lasts a pretty long time (more than a week) using it for gaming and work about 4~ hours a day averaged out.
Cute_Customer420@reddit
i have a g305. it uses just one battery but it usually starts blinking red after 1.5-2 months of use. depends how much you use it i guess
windowpuncher@reddit
Depends a lot on the battery. If you get a disposable lithium battery it'll last a hell of a lot longer than a rechargeable NiMH. I still prefer rechargeable though.
smokinbbq@reddit
For Logitech they are that good. Other ones, you need to worry about. For example, a Bluetooth will chew through batteries monthly easily, since it's a much higher power draw, but Logitech with their little dongles, are absolutely amazing for not using a lot of power. M705 on my laptop, and I can't even remember the last time I changed batteries.
Hearth-Traeknald@reddit
Yeah I genuinely cant remember the last time I swapped batteries, and when you do it's literally just sliding off the backplate and reloading you could do it in like 3 seconds if you're practiced enough and have the other battery ready
Combicon@reddit
I'm kind of sad that I've not yet seen anyone trying to do tactical mouse battery reloads, like they were gun magazines or something.
SaltyBalty98@reddit
I've been a battlefield player for well over a decade, with newer titles being more fast paced, the occasional cord wirring and catching on surfaces drove me nuts, went wireless, charge once a week, no more issues, no noticeable latency whatsoever (I remember using wireless 20 years ago and those were plenty usable for gaming back then), unfortunately, a recent hand injury made it so the palm hump on the mouse (logitech g900) is now uncomfortable.
Zirdee@reddit
Nothing you say works that way. But you're still right nowadays wired/wireless are more or less the same in terms of latency. Your numbers 1 and 1-2ms are pulled out of your ass in your context. But to some degree... right numbers.
Sensor in your gaming mouse reports movement between 0.125ms(8000hz) and 4ms(250hz) maybe 8ms(125hz highly unlikely). Now "the medium" that movement is sent to the computer can introduce latency. 2.4ghz can be faster than wired with modern gaming mice. Why? Radio wave -> light speed(literally) Wired -> electricity inside coppercable(not the speed of light)
"Can be faster" means literally "can be".
What comes to reaction time is true but a mice reportin every 4ms vs 1ms is clearly noticeable. Below 1ms i have no clue since I don't have a mouse that goes below that.
Every "latency" is added on top of eachother btw. Frametime, monitors response time(not gtg thing but visually relevant, not in terms of "feel"), mouse latency, etc.
Tl;dr Close enough numbers, wrong context. Reaction time has no role here.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ooh alright, thank you for ur review!
therealbman@reddit
Most wireless gaming mice come with an extension cord for the dongle so you can stick it up behind your monitor, or anywhere else close to the mouse. That cuts out as much of the wireless “problem” as you can. Personally, I find the freedom of movement wireless gives you makes it worth it for any extra delay it causes.
Euphoric-Pin3506@reddit
I play similar games wireless latency is negligible especially when you factor in the wired mice sometimes get annoying because the wire, but this also depends on sensitivity and setup I use a low sensitivity and have good mouse space
Bobby_bo1@reddit
I have the g305 and played a lot of valorant with it, very nice mouse
CarlGend@reddit
The main thing to keep in mind wrt a wireless mouse is the location of your router/wireless internet hub. If it is within a few feet of where the mouse will be used, the signals will interfere with the mouse and make it occasionally lose connection, which can be very frustrating. Ask me how I figured that out
Snoot_Boop_Snek@reddit
If you have cats get the wireless one, the cables are irresistible to them
TitanTowel@reddit
Check the under side of the mouse. He'll likely prefer a mouse with the same type of pads (skates). The skates affect how smooth it feels to move the mouse.
qedic@reddit
I use the g305 for everything, perfect mouse that you have to pop a new AA battery into every 6-12 months. He'll love it.
visor841@reddit
Wireless is fine as long as it's not bluetooth-only.
Tarirurero@reddit
Don’t get G305.
That thing’s scroll wheel gives out one way or another in like 3 months which is a well known problem of that specific product.
Mine went double-tapping and that’s why I’m using DAV3 currently (for more than 2 years without running into any troubles).
baverdi@reddit
Mine got the double left click issue. Only had it like 2 years.
Hearth-Traeknald@reddit
I've had it for 7 years now with no issues, maybe it's a region exclusive thing
BlastingStink@reddit
My g305 is like 5 years old and I've also had zero issues.
The plastic on it is smooth and shiny now from how much I've used it, lol.
White_Wolf_11@reddit
I would never recommend a razer product. Their software is so ass. Half the time it doesn’t work, and it uses up an insane amount of resources.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Would u say that they are quite light and easy to hover? I may consider getting the razer mouse
Mago515@reddit
I would go with the Logitech mouse. I’ve been using razor death adder mice exclusively since I began of gaming. The software issues people are talking about are real and a huge pain. I just swapped mice this year to the G305.
I’ve used death adder 2, 3, and the “essentials” model.
Holiday_Hurry_5596@reddit
I (and two friends of mine) have the razer death adder v3 pro for like 1,5 years now and we didn’t have a single problem. Maybe we got lucky or the software problems aren’t as common as you think.
Mago515@reddit
To be fair I have zero issues with the mouse. But when Razer synapse is running at all my keyboard misses key presses. So I uninstalled the program and now I can't customize anything about my razer gear. It all works perfectly without the software running but I lose a part of the reason I have light up keyboard/mouse.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ohh i see, ive seen other redditors in this thread recommending me the g305 mouse but for some reason its so difficult sourcing this mouse in singapore..
ItZ_Jonah@reddit
might have been solved by now, but keychron has some really solid offerings for mice, ive been using a m7 for a few months now might have better availability in singapore as theyre Hong Kong based iirc.
Ashankura@reddit
Idk if logitech has gotten better but last time i had logitech hardware their software was as shit as synapse
datwarlocktho@reddit
If you think their software is bad then I'd imagine its improved, Ive been using my g305 for the last year and only issue I had was once I had to rebind my settings for the side buttons. Thats it.
realJoeKorea@reddit
Please do not get a Razer mouse. I've been a Razer fanboy for many years, however in the past 5 years their quality has gone way down hill. I've had to warranty replace a modern Razer keyboard 3 times and a mouse twice. I was about to replace the keyboard again, but then the key that stopped working randomly started working again. So bizarre haha.
I've never used Logitech mice, but it seems everyone likes them on here so maybe go with that!
KlausKoe@reddit
The g305 isn't light. 100g with standrad AA and about 90 with a lithium AA
I just discovered Mambsnake 2 which is just 41g. Even the Logitech Superlight si 60g.
I ordered a Mambasnake 2 for my son for about €40
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ooh, how did u hear abt a Mambasnake 2? Does ur son play fps games? Id like to hear abt the mouse performance
KlausKoe@reddit
Not sure how I found it. My son wanted a light one and saw anotherone. I looked it up and it had horribel reviews. I am not even sure what I was googling for but the 41g and 40 bucks caught my eye. He's is playing shooters but also other stuff. The MS 2 is not for sweats, that seems to be the MS 5.
It will arrive tomorrow.
It misses some stars on A but complains are mostly about Bluetooth connection. It also has a 2.4GHz dongle. That will work.
greiton@reddit
razer has bad QC. you might get something good, or you might get garbage that breaks in a few weeks.
AmazinglyUltra@reddit
I've been using the deathadder v3 since launch I can't say that I have any complaints, feel free to ask any questions
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
When did the v3 launch? Have u experienced any delays since the time uve started using it? I may consider this mouse but im looking to get a slightly less expensive one
Connection-Huge@reddit
Dav3 is good but it's had widespread scroll wheel issues. Atleast the wireless one (deathadder v3 pro). I personally have one too and the scroll wheel went bad after like 6 months. It's fixable by RMAing or replacing the scroll wheel encoder but no one really wants to go through the headache of all that. Deathadder v4 pro fixes those issues but it's still very pricey depending on where you live.
AmazinglyUltra@reddit
I don't remember the exact time but I've been using it for around 2-3 years and I didn't experience any sensor issues or any problems with the switches.
I definitely get you when it comes to the price it isn't really a cheap brand, though to be honest the desthaddder v3 is the cheapest mouse I would recommend from razer, have you perhaps considered glorious model o? I haven't personally used it but I heard good things about it
Shaun997@reddit
I've got the DeathAdder V2 which is wireless, won it in a competition. I wished it was wired but its a great mouse for gaming. V3 is wired which I'd highly recommend.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
How long have u been using the V2 mouse? I heard that this razer series is highly raved about but im not sure if it would be compatible with him because hes never used razer before
ClickKlockTickTock@reddit
If he has razer products, it's probably a safe bet. Some folks hate razer or have been turned off by them (I have all razer products from younger years but their software and compatibility issues have made me hate that I gave them so much money, and they aren't quite as repairable as logitech mouses can be)
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Nope he doesnt have razer products. So far, his pc and keyboard are all of different brandings, none of them are razer:(
dot_one@reddit
Please stop giving razer money, Chinese companies are making far better mice for less than half the price
buff_delta1@reddit
I’ve had my razor deathadder for years and it’s still great, been a little finicky though after some years

Razer DeathAdder V3 Wired was the worst piece of junk mouse I have ever bought. It has a known issue of frequently disconnecting.

VXE MAD R+ on aliexpress.
Glad_Egg3025@reddit
I have a Scyrox V6 and it's really good. It has 8k pulling rate (the highest there is) and can go up to 32000 dpi which is really high. It has a web based software and 2.4 GHz connectivity.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Oooh i looked it up online and its on the pricier side for me, but ill watch videos on it and consider as well! Thank you
Glad_Egg3025@reddit
Glad I could help :)
Glad_Egg3025@reddit
It's also 40g so really lite and had a nice shape. The battery lasts about a week on 8k.
soljakid@reddit
The Logitech G502 is a brilliant mouse that I've been using for over a decade.
Sells for around $35-40 and is lauded by gamers worldwide for its shape and the accuracy of its sensor.
It comes in both wired and wireless versions, I've always gone for the wired version as its cheaper.
The one downside is the middle mouse button has a tendency to fail before anything else does, usually after a few years of constant use so its not like it's a major problem but its cheap enough that a new mouse every 4-5 years wont break the bank.
BigRigs63@reddit
Its a great mice for non competitive fps gamers.
But in the world of competitive fps (like valorant), lightweight is king, and the G502 is a fuuucking heavy mouse
Reniva@reddit
TIL G502 is a heavy mouse
I’ve been daily driving this mouse for more than a decade like I’m wearing a set of iron clothes as Goku
Eerieyerris@reddit
VXE R1 SE+ ATK A9 Plus Redragon K1NG Lite
Redcupcak@reddit
All those words are the name of 1 mouse ? Tf
BigRigs63@reddit
No. VXE, ATK, Redragon are all chinese brands. With the exception of Logitechs recent mouse (that costs $200), chinese mice are essentially the same product but significantly cheaper. If you're budget isn't $200 and you're not looking for the absolute peak for competitive shooters, brands like these are 1000% the way to go.
Informal_Soil_5207@reddit
If I'm not mistaken it's a Chinese brand
genatax2023@reddit
Ese es el que tengo yo el vxe r1 y contentisimo... vengo de un corsair y un logitech.. y vamos si lo pillas con cupones en aliexpress yo lo saque por 35 pavos..
Lenny2024@reddit
Can vouch for the VXE, although I’ve got the R1 Pro, but build quality and performance wise they’re pretty similar if I’m not mistaken. Also the shape and weight are great!
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
I see, are they good for larger hands? This mouse seems to be winning me in 😭
Lenny2024@reddit
As others have pointed out, it really depends on the way he grips his mouse. But check out DiamondLobbyReviews’ video review of it over on YouTube, guy’s got pretty meaty hands so I guess try to guesstimate going by that. Should be fine though.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Thank you, i def check his videos out
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Will check it out, thank you!
Sumopwr@reddit
Check his old mouse for how many buttons it has and where. If he’s key mapping this is particularly important.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Thank you for the advice'
ze_or@reddit
ATK VXE series are what i'd consider for that price range.
R1 pro would be ideal but gets closer to $50
standard R1 I see for $37 and R1 SE+ for $29
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ooh i see, hows the performance for ATK VXE? I may consider their models too:)
ze_or@reddit
Technical performance will be plenty. I believe the cheapest R1 SE+ has a lower tier sensor, but realistically most people can't tell apart the difference.
With R1 pro you'll be paying for things like a better battery, lighter weight, higher polling rate, better switches.
Standard R1 will be somewhere in between.
CommandShot1398@reddit
I like the gesture, but I have to say, there are a lot of choices in the market that makes it impossible to get a one that he like without him being present to test it.
I'd suggest a choosi g a gaming headset or even a keyboard would be much much easier.

ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Oh thats a good idea too! But i would prefer the gift to be a surprise😭😭
kaitero@reddit
Anecdote: I bought a very highly recommended mouse. After about 2 months, I started experiencing pain and realized it didn't fit my hand/grip quite right despite being a "good" mouse for what I thought I needed. But ultimately, the mistake was mine and mine alone.
I agree with others in that you should probably take him shopping for a new one or give him a gift card in lieu of buying him something he'll be using daily and may end up being uncomfortable for him.
godsbelovedtos@reddit
I think you can think about surprises in 2 different ways. You can surprise him with a thoughtful gift that he will love.
Or you can surprise him with the experience to go pick out a mouse he will love! Both options would be an equally amazing surprise! BUT you know him best, and only you can decide which kind of surprise he will love most!
rotorain@reddit
There's a lot of personal preference that goes into choosing one that isn't just picking a good brand. I think going with him and letting him pick one out with him is the best idea. You could make a lunch date out of it or something as well. Btw you're awesome for putting this much care into his gift
fschwiet@reddit
One solution might be a gift receipt that lets him exchange the mouse. Personally while I like some of the top suggestions so far I'd prefer something with more buttons. I have a wired Logitech g502 or g502x for that reason.
PM_ME_A_Pic_@reddit
Buy a gift card with a cute note telling him it’s for a new mouse.
I am not your boyfriend, but if someone bought a mouse for me there is a very high likelihood I’d be returning it for something else. Most of the folks I know, if they are the type to move away from a working mouse, are VERY picky about mice.
Nyllil@reddit
I have the Logitech G502 now for 10+ years and still works as new. I also like the extra buttons and the mouse is very light with extra weight you can change at the bottom.
PancakesGate@reddit
isnt the g502 like 90 grams base.... very light???
Nyllil@reddit
96grams idk if it's included all weights, since I put in only like 3 of them.
dear-reader@reddit
Lightweight mice are typically below 60 grams, going down to ~20 grams for the crazy people out there. My mouse is around 50 grams, so about half the weight of the G502 which I used to use - but it feels like it's 5 times lighter tbh.
Nyllil@reddit
Oh I see, doesn't feel heavy for me so idk. As I said idk if the 96grams refer to the whole weight, so including the extra weights you can put in at the bottom (idk how to call it).
jefferey92@reddit
Idk, mine is starting to fail after 6 years. Right click is unreliable and the rubber is disintegrating

No Logitech, no razer. This is a fantastic mouse that works wired or wireless, has a built in screen on the bottom to change polling rate/settings (NO GARBAGE SOFTWARE REQUIRED!!! Only mouse I know of that offers this.) you can never go back to another mouse (they often require some sort of 3rd party software to really dial your dpo, rate, etc.
The side buttons are completely optional (can be either turned off or have an included cover that hides them).
I've been PC gaming for 25 years and have had several offerings from razer, as well as many logitechs over the years.
The_MacChen@reddit

Toaster075@reddit
Just get him a gift card to his preferred retailer and let him pick it out.
Or let him pick it out and then pay for it.
Mice and Keyboards are so case by case to the person that it’s almost impossible to guess by the hive mind.

I would say I have larger hands, but it all depends on how you hold your mouse.. if he likes bigger mice or he tends to have his palm over the mouse instead of holding with his fingertips, maybe the xm1r is an option? it's a little bigger, also more expensive tho.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)

Which mouse does he have now?
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
I think ive edited the post but right now it looks like the model g304 from logitech
lit3brit3@reddit
Where are you located (globally) 304 is for Asian markets I think? People recommending the 305 are recommending the same mouse. Different names for the same mouse. If he likes the mouse have you considered just replacing it with a new one of the same model?
If this isn’t a surprise, ask him how he uses it (button mapping) and if he had his eyes on anything particular.
Also, side question, what’s a monthly anniversary 🤪
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Located in singapore! For some reason, im unable to source any webs that sell g305 mouses besides US sites like target or walmart.
Basically me and my boyfriend celebrate our relationship milestones every month! The upcoming one will be on the 25th and till then i gotta get a mouse asap😓
ferretsama@reddit
hi fellow sgrean! if ur budget is strict I'll suggest trying taobao, prices there are way more competitive than laz/shopee. they have a new version of the logitech g305 called the g304x-eh, which uses the same shape but is way lighter. it's also within ur 40sgd budget.
they also have brands like vxe/atk/mchose which are chinese brands and they are way cheaper on taobao
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Hello! Thank you, i completely forgot about taobao😭😭
lit3brit3@reddit
304 = 305, so where you are you want to search 304
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ohhhh thats how it works, thank you 😭

750 signature L is nice

R/mousereview is the way to go. Also i wouldn’t go for logitech, they are on the expensive side, while there are brands in aliexpress that have the same build and probably a shape suited. It always depends on what games he play, and his grip, if you can specify.
Affenzoo@reddit
cheapest logitech for 10 Euro work best for me because they are very light, i hate heavy mice
SenpaiGG@reddit
go to the gaming mouse subreddits, a lot of cheaper mice from 20-60 usd that are chinese clones of the “big” brands. good quality, great sensors, and most have high polling rates.
most mice nowadays have similar components and won’t have significant advantages besides weight. the new logitech superstrike has haptic sensors which some say is a revolutionary, i would just wait on a clone to buy that.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Oooh i see, regarding any mouse dupes, do u have any suggestions or links i can refer to? Thank you'
SenpaiGG@reddit
depending on the shape and grip style he has, look at VXE, Mchose, Scyrox, attack shark, darmoshark. it’s endless
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Considering his old mouse, he doesnt grip them in an 'ergonomic' way like those weirdly shaped mouses, im thinking of getting a mouse that looks similar to his old one (g304)
SenpaiGG@reddit
get the vxe dragonfly r1 or scyrox v8
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Thank you! Will definitely use the url:)
SenpaiGG@reddit
please don’t consider razer and logitech in ur price budget, if you love him you would choose these ones instead.
go on youtube and see for urself
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
To be honest, ive not thought abt razer at all. Im considering logitech because all the mouses hes ever used was logitech😭 but im probably gonna get the vxe dragonfly r1 mouse
SenpaiGG@reddit
logitech is good but they’re the innovators in this space. they charge a premium for that as well having the most amount of money in advertising through esports, videos, sponsorships.
if ur not getting their best stuff like the current 150 dollar superstrike, you would be wasting ur money buying the lower tier ones from them where other people have already copied their recipe for success.
SenpaiGG@reddit
terra or x3 very similar shapes

https://www.walmart.com/ip/8629961413?sid=f1f7842e-2bcb-4096-aa85-6ad8a17e24f1 get this one, I just got it when it was 22$ but 26$ still a very good price, it’s more than 40$ on amazon. 42000max dpi, 8k polling rate, charging stand, and 56g weight. You can’t find any better mouse with spec at 20-40$ range. Literally it has a 50-100$ mouse spec. And the quality is not bad at all.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Will definitely look into this one! May i know how was ur experience using this mouse! Any lags or sensory issues thus far? Thank you
SelectionKlutzy1716@reddit
I have a small to medium hand, i play battle field 6 shooting game. I use pulsar x2h mini which is around same size (or a very little smaller and 3-4g lighter than the one I recommended you. ) be comparing both I found Aj159apex’s click is little bit stiffer than the mini unless you click on front on the mouse, everything else is awesome, smooth, light weight, no lag, in fact it has one of the best sensors if you compare to those 100$+ mouses ( lots high end mouses use paw3950 sensor) I have no problem using this mouse if my mini broke. And the charging stand is pretty awesome too( it’s also the 8k polling receiver)
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
That sounds extremely good for such a cheap mouse! My boyfriend's hands are relatively big tho, will it affect anything?
SelectionKlutzy1716@reddit
its best to know what kind of mouse is he using now, so you can compare the size, some medium to big hands use small mouse too especially it’s easier to move when playing FPS game. So I can’t guarantee if he likes the size. But the shape is the one he’s using similar?
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
If im not wrong, hes currently using a logitech mouse, the model looks like a g504
SelectionKlutzy1716@reddit
The dimensions I found on g304 Dimensions Height: 38.2 mm Width: 62.1 mm Length: 116.6 mm Weight: 99 g, Aj159apex is actually a little bit bigger 118.1mm x 63.1 x 37.7m. So I would say if you provide correct info on what mouse he is using then he probably will like aj159apex. Especially it only weights around 56g
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Aj159apex sounds really professional😭😭😭
SelectionKlutzy1716@reddit
It is very good, specially with this price

This one's incredibly popular and a pretty solid mouse
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ooh, from the other comments i heard its quite weighty, how heavy is it?
becrustledChode@reddit
So for me, the more important question is whether it feels comfortable in your hand. These other mice that are getting recommended are lightweight specifically because they're absolutely tiny. You have to scrunch your hand up to fit on it, and even then the grip is uncomfortable. The lightness of the mouse also just makes it feel cheap and makes aiming finicky.
If the mouse being ultra lightweight is your #1 priority then you'd be better off with some of the other choices mentioned, but as a comfortable mouse that's in actually in the price range you mentioned, I stand by the recommendation
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Oohh i see! Thank you ill definitely add this into my list:)
HotwheelsMiata@reddit
Yes but it's twice the weight when compared to other competitive mice. I would want a lighter mouse for Valorant.
JoeChio@reddit
Weight and size are more massive then you think. I got a super heavy and large mouse one time because I thought it'd be an upgrade and my god my wrist fatigue was out of this world. I thought I was developing carpal tunnel.
OP check out Bowie mice. The U2 wireless mouse has been my favorite mouse for the last few years. Super light and zero latency issues with their new wireless receivers.
becrustledChode@reddit
I mean, all they said was that they were considering getting a lighter mouse. Not that it was an absolute requirement. This is a good mouse that's in their price range and matches their bf's preference for Logitech
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ooh i see, thank you for ur suggestion! Do u have a link to the mouse uve just mentioned? Id love to take a look

VXE R1 is very popular at the moment and very good value
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Will look into it! Thank you!
CommercialQuiet8725@reddit
The safest bet is the logitech g pro x superlight or the razer deathadder v3 pro. they're basically the gold standards right now. if you want something cheaper but still amazing, the logitech g305 is a classic. just check if he has big hands or small hands first tbh.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
He has big hands (palming a size7 basketball type of big), ive seen many suggestions talking about the razer deathadder series, as well as logitech g502, hence im considering them. Ive seen other brands as well so im noting all of them down and also ranking them by price😓
Rich_Cap_3926@reddit
i really like my superlight. also get glass skates, i cant live without them
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Oooh i see, what are the perks of glass skates? I may get them with the mouse
Rich_Cap_3926@reddit
it makes the mouse glide on the mouse pad much easier then typical skates. i own few mouses and i always get the glass skates with them.
The_loppy1@reddit
Its only 3x her budget.
mikegoblin@reddit
I am a huge gamer and I use razer deathadder v3 wireless it’s amazing
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Unfortunately thats out of my budget but ive heard good reviews about it!
mikegoblin@reddit
You use a mouse for years at a time! Don’t skimp
SparkysNutshell@reddit
I personally have been using a g502 hero for close to 3 years and i love that mouse.
I heard and saw a lot of good reviews about the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike. Not sure if the online ones are overhyped but my friend who bought it seemed very enthusiastic about its features.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Will definitely consider g502! However the other mouse uve mentioned is way out of budget for me😭😭 thank you though
jesclle@reddit
the glorious model o mouse is very light and i've had no issues so far
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ooh, would you say its good for fps games?
Electrical-Start4458@reddit
Logitech g203 lightsync is basically the safest pick in that budget. Razer viper mini is also a solid option.
ilikeseagullslol@reddit (OP)
Ive heard of logitech g203, how about g304? Its one of the more popular gaming mouses in my country
