Dude. That comparison between the Jewish populations of Iran and Israel is hilarious. Technically (pun intended), you're right about Iran having the second-largest Jewish population in the Middle East, but you conveniently left out the fact that Iran's Jewish population is 480-937.5 times smaller than Israel's (official numbers are hard to come by, I've seen estimates for Iran ranging from 8k to 15k for the present day).

To your first point: the numbers matter because the populations aren't remotely comparable in size, even though your statement frames it in such a way. It's like comparing the size of the population of the US to that of Portland (on the high estimate of Jewish population size in Iran) or Irvine (on the low end). Just because your statement wasn't an outright lie doesn't mean it doesn't misrepresent the truth.

As for political representation in Iran, there are 290 seats in Iran's parliament. The Jewish community gets one seat. 290 voices, and only one is Jewish. I think the term "political representation" is a bit generous, given that.

For your second point, I'd like to see a source for Israel blowing up Iranian synagogues. There are only 20-100 active in the country (all of sources on this that I found have been somewhat poorly worded, but the number is considered to fall within that range).

As an FYI, Baghdad is in Iraq, not Iran. Hope that helps.

I'm actually very strongly opposed to ethnic cleansing in all its forms throughout history. I'm not entirely sure how you arrived at such a conclusion from my original comment. My comment was about calling you out for trying to sanitize the image of the Iranian government, and to you, that means I support ethnic cleansing? Seems like a stretch to me.
