Cool shorts.

does anybody remember wearing shorts that had the popular brand label on the bottom left leg named "Leggoons"?

they had all different kinds of wild prints & they weren't cool unless they had the official Leggoons label. this would have been around 1986 or 1987 I'm guessing.

No, but I remember Jimmy Z's that also had cool prints and a "quick release" Velcro belt-type fastener at the waist.

I remember them. Growing up in a household where money was tight I didn’t have them. However, my mom was a seamstress so she would take me to the fabric store and let me choose the most outlandish material. She would then make me my own versions.

I remember a few of my friends being jealous of some of the patterns/colors.

Yeah I remember a lot of kids doing that including my mom, I had to save up my bank account for a few pairs, because I think they were about $35 a pair back then and that was a lot in the 80s. It was all about the label. How dumb. But some of us bought into it.lol.
