I could be misinformed by a sales rep, but I am fairly certain that the lower price point version were all made in Kansas City MO i.e. no import and tariff costs. The reason for the price increase is that the domestic production stopped due to the the upcoming FCU models release. The US factory to start to retool their equipment to produce the FCU models that are supposed to come out soon and the Czech Republic factories will keep pumping out the classic model that is not an FCU. Hopefully that makes sense and doesn't sound like I am too deep in the Jameson. lol.

I agree. I know they had to keep the production lines the same for the German Police trials of the FDE version of the P10C that they adopted.

Interesting I didn’t know that. It definitely fits on reliability for police and I don’t think HK has anything comparable in this range, although HK makes great stuff in the upper tier.

I was looking for that for ages under 400. I got the p10c comp with it came out. Wish I could get the sr or for that price but I don’t regret it. It shoots awesome.

Its cheaper than what I got mine for a few years back.
However mine never ran well suppressed. Used an obsidian 9 and 45 with various ammo. Runs great unsurpassed though.

I have quite a few hundred rounds through my p10c suppressed and havent had any issues with the obsidian 9. Mainly blazer 147 (i know, not supposed to supress that ammo) but it has been flawless even with 115

You can get a SP-01 for around $650 on sale. I got it from shoot straight and it’s $650 right now as well on their website. This is the 2nd best pistol I own. It’s a well made pistol. You can buy stuff from Cajun gun works and make it even better.
I’ve never shot a P10 but I own three czs and they’re all great. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with either. It’s up to you whether you want a striker fired or hammer fired gun.

I have used both. Honestly they’re very different so you have to decide if you want a striker or basically a steel frame 1911. They are both great options. The SP-01 doesn’t have threads or OR so that’s something to consider.

I got one that is optics ready in FDE for $450 shipped about 2 weeks ago. Fantastic gun and fun to shoot. I wish they made the SR/OR in FDE but I basically had to choose between FDE or SR - figured I could always buy a barrel easier than getting it coated.

You could get it cut, but yea I know. I think it’s worth paying the premium to get the OR, but if you’re looking at a regular p-10 or ported, IMO this is a better option for basically the same price.
