the desert is pretty in the spring, driving the angry beast is a good way to slab out miles

Is the GXP in any marketers beside the USA market

Not officially. Some Canadians imported them.

I loved my GT, I imagine a manual GXP would be much better yet

It has its moments. If I was driving it mostly in slower places with a lot of stop lights, I wouldn't like it as much. But it's become a third car I only use for trips, and for the open road, it's superb. 95mph only turns like 2500rpm, it will go all day like that and get 20mpg, fully cloaked in camryflage.

I see this sort of comment online a lot, I've dailied manuals in a city with almost all low speed stop and go stuff and wouldn't trade it at all. The shifting becomes basically second nature, you put as much thought in to it as you do pressing the gas or brake.
The only time I have those thoughts of wishing I was in an auto are like deadlocked low speed stop and go for a prolonged period, think like accident on the interstate where three lanes go to one and you're sitting in 2mph traffic for 30 mins. Then it sucks, other than that I love it.

I also have a first gen RX-7 and a Miata. These are better around town because I can row a few gears here and there. I can't really use the Pontiac in town. Plus these days manuals are slower from a dig and combined with 4000lbs, I'd rather have it pushing air than mass. It's not so much about it being a manual, it's more about it being a highway yacht.

I dailyed my 6m SS sedan with stick (and stage 3 btr cam) in stop and go for quite a while. Was nice and easy most days. But there were here and there days when I just didn't feel like rowing at all. Mostly due to tired legs. 😂
Wish I'd had a GXP long ago, but my GT was very good to me.

Love it mate. Here's mine, its brother from the other side of the world.

Those utes look fun, we didn't get them here unless you count the El Caminos from forever ago

Wheelman was one of those obscure games I developed a weird fondness for as a child so I'll always have a soft spot for the G8
