Is this a good PC?

I have a b550 motherboard with 32 gigs ddr4 ram, AMD ryzen 5 5600x,with a Intel arc B580 GPU , a NZXT H6 case and finally a Kingston 1tb ssd

Not a great video card choice (for this system)
The B580 is a great card, but needs 7000 series AMD chips or 10th Gen+ Intel chips due to some issues in the platform. You'll dump 10-15% performance on a 5000 series AMD

That's still a big upgrade and I can get a better CPU later rn I'm rocking a 1080 gpu
HankHippoppopalous@reddit
You have a GTX1080?
Thats about 2% faster than a B580

How one has 8 gigs v ram other one has 12 with the Intel version of Ray tracing

Right but one is just a big badass card.
One is a new mid-range card.
Old Mercedes vs New Kia logic.
Check those videos and see the difference.

Do you have any suggestions for a new card because support for the 1080 has recently been dropped
HankHippoppopalous@reddit
"support" means different things to different people.
The 900 Series lost official support some time ago as well, and tons of people are rocking 980's
As an "Upgrade" from a 1080, you're best to go with a 5060 class

Does it do what you want it to do?

Probably the biggest game I'm gonna play is Boulder gate 3

Great 1080p setup.

Thanks

Agreed. Nice build

I think k it looks great. I once aspired to build a similar rig but got intimidated when I heard arc cards struggled with previous Gen cpu's. How has stability been in your experience? Any issues, cause I might end up biting that bullet, after all!

You just need to do a bit of screwing around in your bio

It's quite a good build!!!! I am actually envious.
I am using an RX 580 and a 3600x, so you sure have the upper hand on performance and FHD gaming.

I'd go 16gb, a cheaper case and try and stretch for a 9060XT.
