RAM upgrade issues - motherboard or RAM sticks?

I have an ASUS H110M-R motherboard. Been running it since 2016.
It runs fine with my old RAM sticks - 2x4GB HyperX Fury DDR4 2133mhz
I have bought these second hand sticks from my local computer store - both are 16gb DDR4 2666mhz. One is Spectek, the other is SK Hynix.
When inserted into the motherboard and powered on, the screen displays "No Signal" and peripherals don't work. The case fans and lights turn on as usual.
What do I do? I have the latest BIOS and I have tried inserting them one at a time. Just reset CMOS for one of the sticks and no luck. Is this a compatibility issue?

How long are you giving it to train your new ram Could be bad ram

I gave the Hynix stick around 5-7 minutes to load up, with no result. Spectek I didn't even try.

There are only two 16GB DIMMs on the QVL for that board. One at 2666 and another at 2400. Both of them are from very high end 128GB kits from that time. It's very unlikely you'll get that RAM to work, especially with them being mismatched. What CPU do you have in it?
