Someone cooked here
KYRangeGuy@reddit
Thatās great š nothing like getting beat with your own setup. Was she hooked after that?
Feisty-Tadpole-5127@reddit (OP)
I we are getting there lol. In we have done 3 trips now working up from .22 rifle to 9mm pistol to my dog rattler 300blk supressed. She definitely enjoys it but I think it's still a lot for her so I'm trying to go easy lol
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit
Safe to say you better be doing All the dishes Clothes, yardwork and literally anything else in the house in the household, and never raising your Voice or Else you may as well just be a walk in corpse
bmm115@reddit
My girlfriend is WAY better of a shot than me with enough time to aim. I might be a good bit quicker under pressure because I've practiced, but sheesh, give her an extra second and it's for sure a bullseye
Feisty-Tadpole-5127@reddit (OP)
That's exactly what's I've got going on. Lmao
SirLewester@reddit
Oh that looks fun. I need to find some of these š play myself. Hk vs Shield or something š
Feisty-Tadpole-5127@reddit (OP)
Most fun I've had at the range probably. I usually go alone and do mostly bill drills and defensive training type stuff. This made me slow down and really aim. Definitely saves ammo instead of blasting 300 rounds in 45 minutes monutes we played 1-2 games with 1/4th the ammo

Women are generally steadier shots than men, my wife outshoots me with a freaking revolverā¦.Iām not madā¦Iām proud! Donāt mess with this Texas mama! Or dadā¦
ElmoZ71SS@reddit
This is true.....My wife can take a double action and make me look like a fool, meanwhile I'm holding 2011 racegun with a 3lb trigger. She refuses to shoot long guns though.....and that's her grandpa's fault.....he put her behind a 10 gauge when she was 14 and swore it didn't kick.
Topgun127@reddit
Iām better at long guns too, she has a had time holding a large shotgun up or long rifle, need to let her try out the AR, sheād probably love it except for the loudnessā¦
pinesolthrowaway@reddit
Gotta take her shopping for whatever .22 rifle she wants, that ought to help ease her in to the long gun idea
USS-Hellcat@reddit
Agreed. Most of my friends don't shoot except for when I take them out, and same goes for my wife. She will outshoot all of them.
TacosNGuns@reddit
My wife hosted a sales team meeting at indoor range in Texas. She treated the team to gun rentals. She out shot the men with a .45 1911 and Smith 29. She also took a turn burning a belt on a full auto SAW. š. She was raised shooting in NM.
ecodick@reddit
Genius sales strategy. I'd love that, and I like the idea of a little friendly competition.
But beating the guys at a male dominated activity must be a real good time!
TacosNGuns@reddit
Yeah it was a success and most modern facilities have a conference room for class based training. Definitely a hit with beer sales guys.

We started with my 10/22 with 1 round in the mag and worked up. I wanted to introduce her and not just scare her away but after a bit she was shooting 2-3 inch groups at 50 feet using a full mag and loading it herself..then repeat with the Glock I was impressed I kept moving the target farther and she kept shooting the same groups!
Ckron247@reddit
Thatās epic. Very cool. Looks like so much fun.
Zimi231@reddit
I love that target idea
Feisty-Tadpole-5127@reddit (OP)
I had never tried it that was also her idea now that I think about it. Guys I think I got a keeper here..
OmnomIsADino@reddit
Absolutely a keeper man! You're winning in life!
Low-Landscape-4609@reddit
We used to run a 22 match that was similar. You took some corrugated cardboard and put colored thumb tacks on each side. The shooter that got to the last thumbtack the fastest was the winner.
Feisty-Tadpole-5127@reddit (OP)
Oh that's a cool idea. We played pool before this it was ok but went really fast. This took more time and was way more fun. The tack thing sounds awesome though!
Low-Landscape-4609@reddit
Yeah, if you're having to shoot at an indoor range you can use those little price stickers in different colors. Same concept.
gimli213@reddit
Holy crap! I love that target idea!
SharpMeringue534@reddit
My son and I play battleship at the range. 25 yds with .22ās practice for squirrel hunting. Heās getting pretty good too.
xfyre101@reddit
what distance did you guys play at
Feisty-Tadpole-5127@reddit (OP)
I think 15 or 20 feet I can remember
CuppieWanKenobi@reddit
That target is awesome.
/goes off to shop for Battleship targets
Got_Sig@reddit
Thatās fucking awesome! Taking her to the range is cool too, but man.
-E-Cross@reddit
Then you had taco bell on the way home and beat her in battleshits. Right?
SpiteBadger@reddit
I love playing range battleship!
Physical__War__@reddit
Uh huh. 2nd time shootingā¦. Thatās why you gotta watch out for the ones with ācontractorā, āconsultantā and/or āsanitationā as careers in their dating bioā¦
Mountain_Man_88@reddit
Do the target makers not know how battleship works? Most of the ships have the wrong number of hits
austinsutt@reddit
That is weird. Could it have to do with copyright maybe?
anti_worker@reddit
I agree, less likely to infringe the more variation there is. Clearly that is a Zumwalt class destroyer, when Hasbro has been using a Spruance class destroyer since the early 80's.
HotPreppered@reddit
It's a pirates life for me
Woodpusherpro@reddit
This isn't Battleship. It's "Battle at Sea".
TIRACS@reddit
This is awesome
skratch@reddit
These targets are a such a great idea that i canāt believe i havenāt seen em yet
MetapodCreates@reddit
Something something, multiply the number she says by three and all that..
Racktracker1@reddit
Evidence is clearā¦marry her, but never piss her off!
