It's been a couple years. Where in Dallas can I find a sandwich like this?

Tony just posted on his ig 5 hours ago doing this EXACT sandwich. Hopefully OP sees this reply
PositiveStorage5582@reddit
I guess we have to wait a couple years

Jesus. That things a piece of wor

Trades and Jimmy’s have pretty hearty sandwiches. A few snarfs, the Austin chain, have opened recently too.
New York subs built heaping sandwiches, but they just closed their physical location, are operating out of a ghost kitchen for Uber eats… And I suspect will announce a new brick-and-mortar in the next few weeks
ChrisEWC231@reddit
New York Subs announced they're opening a spot on West Lovers Lane sometime this year. It's currently a small school (six students) so needs to be remodeled after the spring semester and it closes. Fingers crossed that they're open soon.
gizmo1024@reddit
Jimmy’s doesn’t fuck with a deep fryer, so they’re out on this particular sandwich.
Educational_Egg6927@reddit
*Boulder Colorado chain. But mmmmmm I love smurfs so much
waveportico@reddit
Alright hear me out - you can go to bread zeppelin, get the chicken Caesar zeppelin and substitute grilled chicken for the crispy/fried one. Not exactly new culinary heights but might scratch the itch? Lol
CharlieTeller@reddit
God I miss Bread Zeppelin so much :(
TexasBaconMan@reddit
Coit and Campbell
CharlieTeller@reddit
Yeah I think the colony location is still open too. I just moved out of state so its definitely one of my regular spots I miss. Honestly I miss a lot of tx places these days
tengris22@reddit
I missed it so bad I had to come back. I'm here now and loving it, wondering what made me think I'd be happy anywhere else!
CharlieTeller@reddit
For me it was the weather and the flatness. Im definitely more of a temperate rainy type climate person near the mountains. I moved there and I feel so much better every day.
But I miss my local places. :(
abject_objectivity@reddit
can I ask where you ended up going? I feel petty miserable in Texas + I also love rainy climates and mountains
CharlieTeller@reddit
PNW. It's definitely more expensive than Texas but when I'm outside literally every day and walking everywhere, it has done wonders for my brain. It's not as rainy as people say, but the clouds and the 50 degree weather every day is just perfect for me.
tengris22@reddit
Gotcha. Well, we all have our druthers, and maybe you can come back to visit before too long. If you do, be sure to put all the places you miss on your must-visit list. What's sad though is when you do that and discover they've changed.
We've been back three months and I have been to exactly ONE restaurant that's as good as it was before we left. All the others (and the new ones that replaced them) have declined shockingly.
I guess life just keeps going forward....
Ossimo85@reddit
Wait. Did they shut down?
CharlieTeller@reddit
Not that I know of. I just moved out of state
Ossimo85@reddit
Ah
freshbake@reddit
The one downtown is still open I believe

hunterjessen@reddit
Bread zeppelin sucks
hunterjessen@reddit
Why’s everyone hating. The place is not great. My wife and I laughed at what they served us.
waveportico@reddit
It’s just how reddit works lol - I didn’t even downvote you and I made the recommendation. I am sure it varies by location, and the one near my office is extremely convenient for when I don’t have lunch, and has been relatively consistent in decent chain food. But I’m sure everyone’s experience differs and taste is subjective!
onlytoupvote@reddit
You’re right. The quality has gone far down and everything is bland and tasteless there now. Not sure how they manage to find the most bland vegetables but they do. They don’t even chop your salad or zeppelin unless you request now.
CharlieTeller@reddit
Nobody asked
waveportico@reddit
They have decent lunch combos and ingredients, but sure it’s just another chain. Definitely not that bad.
Open_Economics632@reddit
Way diff that chicken is cold af and soggy

Acrobatic_Arm_9735@reddit
I feel like this sandwich looks better than it tastes/is enjoyable to actually eat

At Dfw Airport then fly to nyc
ForzaFenix@reddit
DFW needs a Publix. I need my subs.
luckygeologist2@reddit
Good lord those subs were fire!! Every time I visit Florida, I stop by Publix for their subs. Absolutely great subs
Normal_Geologist_254@reddit
BUFFALO CHICKEN SUB 😩. They pack them mfs too.
ForzaFenix@reddit
I go buffalo or BBQ chicken. Both are fantastic.
sirsaintsgirl@reddit
All of the things about Publix! Only thing I miss about Florida.
ForzaFenix@reddit
Glad we have Yuengling now. I missed that too.

kelcamer@reddit
It's crazy I remember you posting this last time, lmao, maybe I use Reddit too much
arlenroy@reddit
Do not say such a thing, that's half the reason we're here, for shared experiences. Then downvote someone's shitty opinion on Cesar Wraps apparently.
kelcamer@reddit
I keep upvoting it wishing to eat the delicious sandwich 😭
Smurfeggs42@reddit
Cheba Hut can
Joesuds@reddit
Cheba hut can do this.
Smurfeggs42@reddit
I love Cheba Hut but man it's like 20$ for a large with chips and a drink

Genuinely thank you so much 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I was hoping for local
TheGreatMortimer@reddit
People rave about this place but I went and was pretty disappointed. Food was not great and was served room temp.
DistinctAd3865@reddit
Second this. Chef tony throws down.
NothingButTheTea@reddit
Picone rocks! I’ll dm the guy and suggest a chix Cesar Sando special
jfjfjjdhdbsbsbsb@reddit
Dinos Arlington?
musiquarium@reddit
looks like some boutique sandwich I’d give up my money for cuz dang it looks good but shout out to jersey mikes for being close by and tasty. is it unique or fancy? no. but it’s never not gonna be good. I’m saving these recommendations in my notes app for next time I head to north Dallas
erod100@reddit
Apply today’s inflation this sandwich will break the bank🫠
Human_Emotion_654@reddit
Doc B’s would make you one. Or you could order their Caesar and a chicken sandy
nanocurious@reddit
Is that a Schlotsky's?
RichardShermanator@reddit
I haven't tried it yet, but AM/FM has a "Chicken Milanesa Caesar Sandwich" on their Supper menu. Planning on getting that next time I go - all the food I had on my first visit was great.
__Art__Vandalay__@reddit
I had a milanesa sandwich for the first time a few months back…life altering
vayvayvayva@reddit
Everything their chef touches is awesome :)
Dynamic_Duo_215@reddit
I’m from Philly and can’t find a good sandwich spot anywhere and I be all over DFW
Sad_Towel_5953@reddit
Dallas wishes it had something this good.
Square-Release2057@reddit
I live in Plano and man the lack of non commercialized sandwich shops around this area is awful.
KimbaXO@reddit
Preston’s is becoming a neighborhood deli - kind of spot.
KeplerNorth@reddit
It might be a bit of a hike but The Sandwich Spot in Frisco is fantastic.
Open_Economics632@reddit
Or the old Mr gs that is now a specs is very solid. They make sandwiches in the back. They kept it very similar to the original place. You are welcome.
Open_Economics632@reddit
Go to Fred’s in downtown Plano. Or ye old butcher shop. Or sourdough deli. Fred’s for a proper Philly or Italian.
kabob21@reddit
I don’t know anyone in my friends and family group that consistently craves sandwiches enough to go to delis, do you? Mom & pop shops like that thrive in walkable cities and neighborhoods which DFW has very few of.
DistinctAd3865@reddit
100%. I’ve been complaining about this for a while. I’ve been to all the hype spots too and they just don’t stack up. Not sure the draw to Dino’s or weinburgers. Get what you can I guess…
Square-Release2057@reddit
I feel like I would crave them more if I had viable options. I don’t now because I don’t want Subway, or Jimmy John’s. Give me a good sandwich shop and I’d pick that any day over commercialized shops or fast food burgers.
Delicious_Hand527@reddit
IMO: the delis in the cities that are generically heralded aren't that good. Los Angeles doesn't have some special deli/sandwich culture Dallas is missing. NYC deli sandwiches taste like sandwiches.

Square-Release2057@reddit
Great article, thank you for sharing!
Delicious_Hand527@reddit
They exist but they are generally way overpriced or the ambience isn't great (also true of Mom & Pop delis elsewhere). I said what I said.

Impossible-Try-9161@reddit
Not for nothing but what the hell is in there? Looks like you have to bite through a haystack to get to an overly breaded, over processed unnaturally colored something or the other.
Thin_Scratch_2219@reddit
Zoli’s in Addison will make you one
carbon_brz@reddit
what the fuck is that it looks amazing
010Horns@reddit
Great Outdoors is better than this carpetbagger nonsense.
gizmo1024@reddit
Whistle Britches and Streets Fine Chicken both have pretty damn good sandwiches. Nothing that’s Caesar though. Could probably do well to add one.
Game7Hemingway@reddit
Mr. G’s in Plano connected to SPECS

Sorry but this trend of "let's shred a whole fucking ounce of parm on top of the wrap/sandwich/salad" is gross and stupid.
We tried the wrap at Bad Chicken about a month ago and good lord it was a horrible experience.
prongslover77@reddit
There is no such thing as too much fresh shredded parm.

I thought they closed permanently.

Dang, I think you’re right. It’s been a minute since I’ve been.
PC_Help_or_Puppers@reddit
I was craving their Italian sandwich recently and saw an old Facbook post. Feels bad man, need to find a new sandwich shop over here now.
888mainfestnow@reddit
Snuffers might make a fried chicken sandwich with caesar salad on it if you ask nicely?
