How regarded do you need to be to think bright colors can ruin anything? We live in such a shitty grey, black and beige world, any color is more than welcome!
Altruistic-Board5322@reddit
A) North Macedonia B) yeah its killing the vibe
Objective-Contact-15@reddit
Macedonia looks better when you visit.
Altruistic-Board5322@reddit
I ve been to Macedonia some times, never went to North Macedonia though, i plan to if i visit Serres again!
Objective-Contact-15@reddit
Ah Agean Macedonia, practically the same. But lets not go there...
Altruistic-Board5322@reddit
No no my friend, its the same only if you dont know geography, history and international law!
Take care!
Objective-Contact-15@reddit
My friend, you expect others to follow the rules and laws you ignored.
canyoubelieveitt@reddit
The ad and sign game on the Balkans is terrible.
losankanke@reddit
I absolutely agree
eito_8@reddit
Bitola he says lmao
Special-Transition77@reddit
> The Modern Greek name for the city (Monastíri, Μοναστήρι), also meaning "monastery", is a calque of the Slavic name (Bitola).
Bitola is OG
eito_8@reddit
It's original name is Tsifsa Motre cause it was Albanian. Joke aside look what its ACTUAL was it want monastiri/monastirion. Bitola is the name of my asshole.
tsintsunami@reddit
First of all, North Macedonia. Second, I think it looks cool breaking the norms a bit.
Objective-Contact-15@reddit
I think the ads are horrible tbh and remove some of the charm, but its business in Macedonia probably just like anywhere else. If only it would be better regulated in that regard so businesses dont go overboard.
Antique_Birthday6380@reddit
Now i’m a bit curious, why an French flag is there?
Objective-Contact-15@reddit
The city has traditionally been a seat of many European consulates since mid 19th century.
Kokona0-4@reddit
Looks like circus 🎪 even the their flag look like one from the above
Special-Transition77@reddit
Says the Bulgar that ripped off the Russian tri-color
Kokona0-4@reddit
What will say about Serbs they have the same even mat hing colors with the Russian flag???
Special-Transition77@reddit
Atleast they changed the ordering of the colors (inspired by Pan-Slavic colors not russian) - you just changed the blue to green in commemoration of mother russia lol
Anto11x@reddit
😒
moisthotdogg@reddit
It's a vibe in my opinion
ThatAnt8823@reddit

Think_Beginning1166@reddit
I love them
OswGeoM@reddit
*north Macedonia
crivycouriac@reddit
The biggest vibe ruiner of any place are the overhead electricity cables
KPlusGauda@reddit
Looks lovely
Substratas@reddit
Not at all! It looks gorgeous (reminds me a bit of Łodz, Poland).
chaotebg@reddit
I think it's part of the vibe. Honestly in this case I don't much them at all.
kr4cken@reddit
yeah i also find it lowkey aesthetic. not to mention it's much better in terms of quantity of ads and signs compared to the main streets in other balkan cities.
Majestic_Potato_5408@reddit
Bad taste yeah, but it's not over the top and it's Balkan and it looks way better than average, so I would not complain.
Panceltic@reddit
Haha that NLB sign threw me off!
PVanchurov@reddit
For me it's the Fr*nch flag that ruins it.
Third_Rate_Duelist_@reddit
Yes, all signs should be the same design like how it is in Croatia or other touristy streets and how they started doing them in Ohrid
Targoniann@reddit
It’s beautiful but with a bit less artificial lights (at least up until it get more dark) it would look better
Third_Rate_Duelist_@reddit

North-Library4037@reddit
Yeah, it's too much. Especially put on that architecture. They could make lights and signs that compliment the architecture you know. This is all over the world.
S-onceto@reddit
Would be good to have a then and now comparison.
d2mensions@reddit (OP)
I posted it without a question, they removed it, so i had to make a question
