Joby has wings, it's the luggage capacity they're missing (amongst other things).

Yes, Joby was the first under the remit of the FAA however Vertical are claiming the first under the remit of the CAA. The FAA and CAA approaches to this process are very different I understand so it seems reasonable to make the distinction in my opinion.
