Gyönyörű. Egyik kedvenc helyem Budapesten.
Only the first pic has filter aplied, as I shot against the sun and it darkened the surroundings. So I had to bring down the shadows in post and increase saturation of colors. The rest are straight out of camera jpegs, no changes, with fujifilm velvia film simulation.
All the photos are processed. Including films of old, where processing is called developing, and they are not true to life. Can be b&w, vivid, soft, punchy and etc, depending on the film used and darkroom techniques. They also have grain.
Phone photos are processed with algorithms, and digital photos are processed in post. Nobody posts raw files.
My man, your are fighting a different (and completely unnecessary) fight. I’m a photographer and I primarily shoot film which I develop, scan and postprocess myself. I’m well aware of how it works.
I also own an X-E4 which I love dearly, and I love the film sims. But you are deluding yourself if you think film simulations are not filters. Which is exactly why a random commenter calls them out as such. Postprocessing your raws is not the same as applying a filter that is said to mimic a film stock.
My friend - you are replying out of context. My reply was to the post in Hungarian, which says that it's a shame to falsify reality and use 250 filters. All the images except the first two one are sooc here.
As a photographer u know that there is no such thing as objective reality. Even raw files of different manufacturers are ccompeletely different.
Obviously, film sims are filters, even the ones that try to be true to life, like Provia on Fuji, but all the photos are filtered and processed one way or another though chemical or digital processing.

a rákent huszonöt deka filter nélkül is gyönyörűek lettek volna ezek a tavaszi képek. kár hamisítani a valóságot, tökéletlenségében szép a világ!

Mi a baj azzal ha kicsit szerkesztett a színeken? Most komolyan..
