What do you do on the weekends?

How many of you spend your weekends or free time staying active, whether it is playing a sport, taking a class, or enjoying activities like bowling, golfing, or something else fun?
insertitherenow@reddit

Avoid the locals.
Tend to my chickens.
Prepare for court.
Fine_Cress_649@reddit
Ah a tennis player
Altnabreac@reddit
There is certainly a lot of back and forth involved.
Fine_Cress_649@reddit
Just twigged the username - In whose court is the ball currently?
Altnabreac@reddit
Inverness' court, on Wednesday this week, when the couple will re-present their compatibility motion which was incorrectly filed the first time around.

This sounds like an amazing book blurb.

Has been for a while.
Back in court in Inverness on Wednesday to re-file an incorrectly filed compatibility question.

Parkrun on Saturday mornings!
Jimmy90081@reddit
Do you know how many times this is asked? Yawn.

In no particular order most of our weekend involve some of the following each week:
Dog walking/training
Tending my allotment
Going out drinking
Going out for meals
Going out shopping
Staying in drinking
Cooking meals
Getting takeaways
Visiting local and a little further away landmarks/beauty spots/national parks

Whenever the weather is good, I go for nature walks. When it isn't that good, I go to my local ping pong club and play ping pong.
In the evenings I make myself a glass of sweet milkshake, and I watch the clouds in the sky float And sometimes the stars, with my telescope. I then contemplate those stars and then it all makes sense.
That's normally my weekend!
KoorbB@reddit
Yup, always get out of the house. Local stuff, activities, gym. I can’t stand to “waste” my free time indoors at the weekends.
badmancatcher@reddit
Local gay bar (am gay).

Username checks out.

Does it mean that you're bad at catching men or good at catching bad men?
BigJDizzleMaNizzles@reddit
I think you meant to ask /u/badmancatcher that not me but I'd suspect the latter.
badmancatcher@reddit
Yes
ForestCl0uds@reddit
I usually see friends or family on Saturdays. It's generally not very active stuff, but may involve a wander around a small high street or something like that.
On Sundays I clean the house then relax with the cat.

Anyone with kids knows the weekend is when the real work begins
Fine_Cress_649@reddit
I coach my kid's mountain bike club. Sometimes I do park run
vipros42@reddit
Surfing, playing guitar and drums. This weekend been working on garden renovation. If it's sunny and there's no surf will still mess around on the beach with friends

As a part time worker with a toddler I hate weekends, because they’re sooo busy at the places me and my toddler go on my days off in the week. I tend to spend a lot of time at nature parks and walks and baking with the little one. I haven’t had time to exercise since I had said child, though I really need to start trying to carve out some time for it.
Akash_nu@reddit
I wake up late, then gym, food, TV and bed. If the weather is nice and I feel like going out then depending on where I plan to go I would either skip gym or go after.
thereisalwaysrescue@reddit
Before kids, I’d do the gym and lift weights on a Saturday and swim on a Sunday.
Now I have kids so it’s flume and floats for me.
Octoboy1@reddit
My Mrs and I are professional wrestlers so we spend most weekends travelling somewhere to wrestle. Had a rare treat of wrestling in our home town this weekend so it was a 10 minute walk to the venue as opposed to a 1-3 hour drive
BigJDizzleMaNizzles@reddit
I'm imagining HHH and Stephanie McMahon sitting up in bed with a brew doom scrolling reddit and one turns to the other and says "isn't it nice to not have to drive 3 hours to work?"
PolarLocalCallingSvc@reddit
Yesterday I went kayaking for most of the day.
Saturday was a gardening day, interdispersed with indoors DIY when the snow and rain got too heavy to be arsed being out pulling up old plants.
Friday was visiting family in hospital.
Most weekends I spend doing something outdoors. The dog enjoys it too.

Wife bought me a horse so Sunday is when she gives me my riding lesson (snigger). After 6 months I’ve progressed from being an ‘utterly clueless’ horseman to being ‘staggeringly below average’ apparently…
NoCold3997@reddit
Same as I do the rest of the week 👍
JumpPuzzleheaded7546@reddit
Build Temu Lego sets and paint miniatures is the main thing. Play board games with the kids, walk the dog, and bake.
cliffybiro951@reddit
Honestly can’t really afford to do much. Potter about the house. Tidy up. Take the dog a walk etc.
Interesting-Ease8882@reddit
Nice you have a dog
How you afford that ?
cliffybiro951@reddit
I have 4. 2 were from a litter we bred so only paid for 2. They actually don’t cost a bunch to feed but insurance is quite expensive. Hence I have no money 😂
Duanedoberman@reddit
Work
10 hrs shift yesterday. 10hr shift today.
Off tomorrow and I am doing FA.
Excali20@reddit
Nothing really I don’t party anymore since I turned 20 two years ago so I just play games and stuff and vibe with my dog for the most part
Mysterious_County154@reddit
Fuck all
Too busy everywhere, prefer going out to shops and stuff in the week while it's quiet
Bretty315@reddit
🛌
lightfoot90@reddit
I tell myself during the week that I’ll make the most of the weekends, then when they roll around I’m so knackered that I just stay in bed on my phone all day.
