PC bugging out

So I own a Dell Optiplex 3050 that I swapped the ram on, but so far the main issue is that my computer will just completely freeze randomly, usually not being too close in time. I know something about this ram is weird, as I had swapped it in twice, and the previous time was really unstable, as it took lIke 10 minutes to boot up since it did configuration. There is a chance though that there is another part messing up, as when I swapped ram, it did work better, but it was so much harder to play minecraft, as it’d sometimes need to just be powered off because of how slow it got, and it was on LOW settings. So I swapped the ram back in where it runs WAY better, but it’s unstable.

It can be caused by a corrupted Windows or a dying hard drive. In my experience with these Optiplex, it's unlikely to be caused by RAM. Can you reinstall windows and remove the hard drive if you are still using one to test it?

I got a blue screen about my hard drive being bad, but it still works at the moment. I know my dad has a spare ssd I could put in there instead though.

To add more information, I took the weird ram from another pc I had previously been using, and prior to that I was pretty sure the ram was not to blame for that pc. I also needed the cases off of the ram so I could fit it in underneath the hard drive. If any additional information is needed, I’ll be happy to give some.
