Are white/clear setups worth it? Keyboard & mouse grime and grease?

I have a pink clear keyboard & mouse. Putting a keyboard cloth/cover over it when not in use helps to reduce lint & bugs falling in it!

Good idea.. i just love how the lights look with clear keys its dope

Agreed! Yunzii is the one that made mine. I love it, it's very well built and the rgb patterns are so diverse! They also have nice, poppy switches :3

I went for white keyboard for a change. It's nice, but that's about it. I'd probably just go for black if I had to pick again. I'd clean it every 2 months regardless.

I went from a black keyboard to a white keyboard, and it became really obvious whenever my black cat has been nearby after that swap
the plus side being low profile caps makes it easier to dust off, but it is definitely more apparent

Oof yeah i have an extremely hairy cat

I have a white/black setup. I don’t have an issue with grime but I also don’t eat at my desk. I do dust out my keyboard /monitor/ monitor arm and wipe my mouse/mouse pad down monthly, but things like my mic, tower get cleaned just when I notice dirt or dust.
I’ve also have a Mac setup with the classic white/silver keyboard and it’s my work computer so again I don’t really eat at that desk and the keyboard is still pretty clean after 5 years of use

Fair enough mine will be eaten around but i still always use tonnes of hand sanitizer and tissues somehow my sh still gets greasy and cant really clean inbetween the keys, work computer too but at work i have to eat as i work because i constantly have a million things going on at once

I mean any keyboard and mouse will look gross if u don't take care of it, just remember to wipe off ur mouse like once a moth or so and blow out ur keyboard every so often

My black keyboard and mouse never look dirty at all until one day my keys were stuck together i heard white discolors over time regardless?

i have a white/black set up. While i like the look, paying extra for parts and constant cleaning is such a hassle. i would advise to go black/wood its just as clean and cheaper and easier to ignore dust every now and then.
