What was the best Easter food of 2026?

In a world of shrinked and squashed Easter eggs, which foods came through to save your Easter?
(CONTEXT: I’m currently eating an M&S speckled egg cookie and am thoroughly enjoying myself)

I've got a bad addiction to the Cadbury Biscoff eggs. I think they were new this year? They're so good (if you like Biscoff)

If you haven’t seen, there’s a new Cadbury’s Biscoff bar - from what I’ve heard they are more Biscoffish than the bars they’ve had up to now. Annoyingly I haven’t seen them yet near me.

Waitrose were selling an ‘Easter egg inspired’ panettone and it’s delicious! Cheaper than a large chocolate egg as well. Win win.

My scouts group just hosted our Easter fair. A wonderful local lady (Leet’s Treats) came with her stall full of gorgeous homemade goodies. Her Korean barbecue sausage rolls and mini egg cookies were the highlight.

I don't like traditional hot cross buns. I love the triple chocolate ones or the caramel ones. Co-op used to do amazing cookie dough ones in 2018, but they never brought them back. I also loved M&S mint speckled eggs.

Cookie dough sounds amazing. I love trying all the flavours each year though haven't quite got through them all yet. I have the m&S lemon ones for tomorrow but need to get the biscoff ones from Tesco and weirdly want to try the carrot cake ones from Sainsbury's. M&S extremely chocolatey are my fav so far though.

Over Christmas I bought two whole legs of lamb from Asda because they were half price. They’ve been in the freezer since - had one today, and it was damn good. Did it with roast potatoes, roast chantenais carrots/parsnips/shallots, cauliflower cheese, and gravy made from the meat juices and the veg par-boil water. Wine was a nice Primitivo di Manduria. Followed by nice sharp lemon pots after that rather rich meal. Pretty good Easter food!

Whole leg of lamb cooked to 58°C, duck fat roast potatoes, proper gravy, Savoy cabbage, honey carrots, my Mum's Victoria sponge. Haven't even touched my eggs!

Home cooked roast, some chocolate cornflake cakes the kids made, and the girl dinner I’m going to have when I’m home and no longer need to eat socially acceptable meals.

Husband bought me and M and S egg with pretzels in which is delicious, doubt it’ll survive past tomorrow.
