How possible is it to get a semi-auto rifle in Quebec

Hey guys, i want to get myself a civil variant of the C7 but i want to know what are the steps to get the license and after aquiring the license where can i buy myself a firearm.

You'd probably have better luck asking in a Canadian gun sub.

I'm only vaguely familiar with gun laws in Canada, but I don't believe you can get any variant of the C7/AR. My understanding is your government is tightening the noose on semi auto guns.

I'd imagine the SKS is probably your best bet for a rifle, but maybe there's other alternatives I'm unaware of, I'm not Canadian after all.
