Help me build a gaming pc

I know nothing about gaming pcs, but I’ve been thinking about getting one for a while.
Id love it if there’s anyone out there that can advise on what website to use to build and what to put in it!
Usually a PlayStation gal so fancied something different so id like something that plays titles like RDR, COD and BG3.
I’m not sure on budget. Ideally under 1k but could be stretched if it’s REALLY worth it!

Unfortunately, this is not a very good time to build a budget PC. RAM alone has increased in price by like, 400%.
That said, PC part picker is definitely the site you are looking for.
If I were you, I would spend some time tinkering around on PC part picker. Throw together a hypothetical dream build, then compromise it down to a build that has the lowest specs you'd find acceptable. If that build is still appealing to you and somewhat within your budget, start buying parts starting with the parts you are most certain about. Every week or so, check the parts compatable with what you have already to see if there is a sale you should jump on or a better option that would also be compatible. It won't be instant gratification, but that is the financial upside to building yourself, you don't have to get everything at once and you've got a bit more flexibility.

well, those games aren't too hard to run but unfortunately the current market for PC parts really sucks So 1k might be tough especially if u don't already have peripherals like a keyboard or mouse. and not sure if u have a PS4 or 5 but its hard to beat a PS5 at $1k right now so I would check ur used local market if u really want to get on PC otherwise I would suggest spending or saving more closer to 1.5k

Pc part picker has many sample builds.
You are going to struggle to build a PC for $1k, impossible if you have to buy a monitor etc still.
